Rest in peace.
Updated the first posting with all relevant postings. Feel free to contribute if you have anything interesting to share.
Iâve never known the man personally but Iâve had a handful of interactions with him back in 2018, even giving some tips for voice acting which he seemed to be passionate about.
Left this world way too early, rest in peace Brigante.
Such an enthusiastic RPer and an icon in the community. I hope he recognised his contribution to the joy of the game - at least we do. A sad loss, and not one thatâll be forgot.
Rest well Brigante
Dev, might be an idea to add the location of the memorial service to that post? Youâve mentioned teleporting to Pandaria but not the location of the start.
My heart sunk upon being told of Dudge passing. The man who properly introduced me to the RP scene and guided me into becoming a better storyteller and person overall during a rough few years.
I wish he knew I cherish that secret santa gift even to this day.
Youâll be damn well missed old man⊠- Bulwark.
Never met him in game, might have engaged on the forums once or twice canât remember if it was to agree or disagree but used to see his posts.
Very sad news rip, thoughts with family and his friends especially all of you here who knew him well.
Have posted on the memorial forum post where we will be starting.
It has been wonderful to read through everyoneâs memories of Brigante. Iâm both amazed and unsurprised at how much of an impact he had on the community as a whole. He was always very outspoken in the roleplaying community.
I will miss him greatly. My first time RPing with him, he was hosting his own birthday party and a lot of people were invited. Though Brigs and Tia never actually met until then, he treated her and I as if weâd always been a part of his life. I will miss the times he randomly showed up just to tell stories at the open fire - and his stories were many.
When he showed up at the last Return of the Damned campaign just to stand and troll Deâvontae whilst Tialis was healing him. When he snuck into the VC when some friends and I were running Tazavesh just to catch up and snicker at some of the dumb things we did.
And of course, I will never forget fighting against Alliance in Feralas, being in the thick of battle - only to see Brigante yelling a song as he fought from the back of his dragonhawk. It was a very confusing moment at the time, but one I look back at fondly. Iâd give a lot to see it happen again.
Edited - we will be starting in the isle of QuelâDanaâs in the inn
Is this open to all? Would like to bring Kialen or Saelana to pay respects.
Maybe itâs all just a rp thing and he makes an epic return as an undead hunter. We can hope, right?
RIP, Sad to read about this. The forums wonât be the same without him. Had my disagreements with him here and there but always respected his points and the way he handled things. Kind of feels like a shock to hear tbh. Almost feels like he was part of my routine of reading his posts when on the forums. Hope he wasnât in pain.
It is.
I didnât really rped with him but itâs sad to see another rper pass away like this, one less soul in Argent Dawn keeping rp alive.
Rest in peace champ.
One of the first people I interacted with when I entered Horde RP as Carbek here, he was always out and about in most RP hubs and attending big events and in the past, we always found some time to hang out IC.
I donât recall having many interactions with Brigante, if at all, but he was a well-recognised poster and wasnât one to cause drama. Itâs certainly a shame to hear of his passing.
Never personally knew him, except from his posts on the forum, was not a mystery he had a terminal condition cause he talked openly about it even here.
My deepest condolences to everyone that personally knew him.
Never realized Brigante was seriously ill. Meet him only on forums as a knowledgeable debater where I both agreed and punted our heads together.
May he rest in peace.
Darn. Iâll miss him.
Rest in piece.
Rest in peace.
sadly i did not know him, neither i have spoked to him, i do wish him a good journey up there.
May he sleep in silence, Rest in peace <3
