I hope Ret exited a PTR prematurely, because currently the arenas are almost unplayable.
My heals should heal, but Devs should know I can’t heal oneshots.

What’s balance when it comes to pvp though even if your the greatest pvper who ever lived you cannot win if the opponent has better gear and is playing a better class then you so what is balanced really
many of you claimed legion’s template system was bad because you couldn’t wreck the noobs you dug your own graves and i honestly find this topics beyond funny

It is not oneshots per say it takes setup time like always if you know how to play against ret you will not get oneshot like a fool.
what setup? you hoj, wings, judgment, justiciars and the enemy is dead
worst case scenario for the victim he is still alive and eats ur wake of ashes into another justiciars

Jokes aside, I hope Blizzard tunes the numbers. Ret may be insanely fun right now but doing 20k damage with AoE every single hit kinda makes the other DDs obsolete in the team in PvE.
How it is in PvP I can’t say, but the fact that Ret can now spam attacks like Fury Warrior (with the right talents) makes it surely a lot more unfun for other classes due to less attack downtime.
In PvP it isn’t much different either. I run like 2% Versatility and suck at WoW PvP and still did dismantle every player except that one time it was a 3v1 on half HP. I died once in that Battle ground. It is indeed over the top at the moment.
That being said, as I said I hope Blizzard tunes ONLY the numbers but KEEPS the talent selection.
Having lots of AoE options as Retribution is a very good thing for the class.
my bad, should’ve mentioned you have the options of 10 sec complete immunity to all magical effects, 10 sec immunity to all physical effects and 8 second immunity to all effects in general

You also do not have immunity to magic effect other then bubble that is Prot paladin ability called blessing of spellwarding not a ret ability at all.
