Now stay with me here… I’m not looking to upset the #nochanges crew (this is just a bit of fun), but tonight on Discord my guild all got talking about retail land mounts which we would love to see make their way across to Classic (or at least Classics own version of them).
Personally I love the Ratstallion Mount, and as a Forsaken I would love to get something cool like it at some point…
So, if you could bring any mount from Retail into Classic what would you choose?
The warlock classhall mount with the purple (broken shore drop) skin.
I would love to see the Ivory raptor mount, the one that used to be in vanilla.
Retail mounts, sorry, but nope.
The Celestial Steed. Such a beautiful, well-crafted, detailed mount for only 25 EUR.

Dragon from ICC. Now, now before you scream ‘but its not land mount’ - it can walk just fine. And often in areas where I cannot fly (dungeons, pre flying zones etc) I use it often as my land mount because I like its bone structure and /mountspecial roar. I have used the mount ever since I got it from ICC back in WoTLK and I love it to this day. I prefer this - common - mount over any rare or more rare mounts in my collection (i.e. this drake beats heck out of zul gurub tiger or magic rooster for me)
Other mount I love way too much comes actually from classic - and I use it ever since and its Riivendares horse. And while the model is common among horse, as horde I still use that blue undead horse over other mounts I have, when land.
And honorable mention is that junkyard wheel mount form 8.2. patch and Rustfetaher mob. Its just so hilariously gnomish.
But as you see I can still get one of my fave mounts in classic 
That droprate though… I do not think I will be twice lucky, so I be using undead racial mount- close enough!
Slippery slope to motorbikes, nobody wants that.
no please I love having consistently bad textures and models, not even joking wotlk texture improvements were enough to pet peeve me in this regard
edit: that said I can’t even really answer the question just for fun since like the russian orc above my favourites are either from classic or designed to look best flying. Maybe if they ever did classic+ with vanilla style assets I wouldn’t mind something like the striped dawnsaber or tallstrider mounts. As long as they fit in the classic world, since a lot of modern wow mounts are based on new additions to the world that sometimes feel like excuses to make mounts of them and I DONT LIKE THAT I like simple and horses just horses yes
i would chose gnomes to get their own faction
