If you had a character on retail you could use that one to post on the forum (after making a level one on Classic).

I must have missed something. Could you please quote where the level 15 character says that avatar matters? I’m not level 10 by the way.

Just curious why you want this kind of change? What difference does it really make if I post on my forum avatar which happens to be a retail character or a level 18 dwarf hunter classic character?

I am all in for this kind of change but it has to work both ways. Blizzard should make completely different forums for classic and retail

If you post on a classic character, then it means you’ve definitely played classic. I think OPs point is to minimise people giving feedback on a game (or indeed just trolling) that they’ve not played

Little off tpoic question: Am I the only one who kinda reads every post with the voice of the race it was posted with?

Like, posts from a Dwarf character always have this scottish accent in my head, trolls go jamaican and gnomes have an annoyingly high pitched voice…

It does not have to be on a classic character. The forum can detect if you have a Classic character and allow you to post on your retail character if you do.

I’d be more for this if there was a way to stop the reverse from happening as well, the Classic is better trolls flooding retail GD is just as annoying.
