Retail state in short

Classic is 1000’s of quests and leveling. Hours and hours of gameplay. Endless.
Retail is like, here is 4 daily world quests, and voila. Plus an m+ or arena mini game. 12 dollars.

Don’t understand me wrong, i’m not trying to upset or troll. But…
I really miss the old immersive retail expansion packs. :frowning:

Are there people nowadays who play retail for the questing experience?
Everyone around me is sitting in Dornogal, queuing for endgame content.
When I’m out in the world, I see very few people actually doing anything.
So, I assume more players are interested in retail’s endgame.
But that’s just my perspective.

So play classic then if you find it immersive to plod over to a mob 7km away to white swing it to death.

I’ll stick to retail.

I’ve been working towards 100 Reputations and see loads of players in open-world in lots of different places. Players want to do open-world content, they’re just bored of TWW open-world content.

It’s true that I enjoyed the open world in Dragonflight much more than in The War Within. It’s also true that achievements in Dragonflight were more enjoyable and interesting. So, you might be right. As an achievement hunter, I enjoyed Dragonflight far more.

Then do 1000’s of quest and play classic. I trully don’t understand what goes through people’s mind when they barf out something like this. What is the point of this post? To acknowledge that the two game is different, which everyone knows already?

There’s also a lot of players in SL open-world right now.

Im leveling a pirate hunter goblin right now.
Plundered the whole store so its perfect :grimacing:

and yet they rush Anniversary Classic in 1 year instead of making it 1,5 or longer so people could even do alts properly, Blizz literally shooting themselves in the leg

Do enjoy your 4 year grind to gear; there was a reason it was made easier.

… nonsense comes naturally to you. We understand.

I will never understand why cant just post some matter they wish to discuss in one constructively writen thread from their main instead create dozen threads of same matter from multiple hidden alts to push their agenda. They really need make wow forums under btags. Would be far more beneficial to have discussion of some matter of interest under one thread.

Idk how many topic is it now that just say the same classic vs retail, I dont see how creating multiple for same matter would somehow say more what the others already doesnt and where people are already discussing aswell. Nothing wrong with the other threads can just join in one of them.

If I have to ever again raid months to gain my set on mage so I can finally go fishing procs for pyro or poly in AV I will scream. Its not time of old mmos anymore either when farming on some werewolf pit took weeks for item that has 0.00001% drop and possibility to increase ones character by the same margin aswell. I dont want any of that, I quite like diving into pvp in retail, they only need to make it less soloq oriented for pvp or atleast maintain same worth for playing with friends aswell in arenas still. Theres no reason why soloqs and arenas couldnt coexist when other games manage do the same without either harming other.

Agree. We got the mini patch with is island, i have never felt that bored when i got to the island.

Its like blizzard have very fews idears and just say them in other ways.

So everything right now is:

A: Raid
B: WQ
C: EVents (Just WQs)
D: Rares. LOTS of rares. (They not rares)

We get that EVERY PAtch right now, same in DF.

And agree, in classic, you feel like you always have somthing to do. but Retail is kinda damaged, a few things will always make it feels meh.

World scaling, you will never feel overpwoered anymore, so why even get new cool gear.

Warmode, World PVP is gone, you dont feel the danger of other players, you just watch a netflix movie and play on auto.

It is low effort but remember it’s a minor patch usually reserved for bug fixes and minor features. Now if they put in the same amount of effort with Undermine then it’s a valid complaint.

So far undermine looks also underwhelming, just another Raid log patch

ideally

they need to bring retail combat and talents and classes to a classic world version of warcraft like the zones and immersion

I despise retail questing - 1/2 shotting npcs for “hours” in side quests was infuriating xD

do classic for quests and farm gold there in dungeons.

let others do other stuff in retail

Well classic is run by the same people. Or do the classic team and the retail team have opposite agendas? (or put another way - think before posting).
