I hear a lot of people say that you need certain add-ons to do very high level content and i am not going to give an opinion about something i have never done like mythic raiding because then i would be lying.
What i can say though is that dbm for example does not add all that much more to the game if you already eased yourself into the game.
I will admit sure if you have team mates that make it more difficult for you because they go into m+5 for example without any knowlegde of tactics because they never did dungeons before and just decided yolo lets do m+ which for some reason happens quite a lot… but that doesnt change the fact that the learning curve is still easy and everything does get explained to you in game. if you had read it or took the time to actually learn when your still learning a game…
Thank you yeah that is true i did a leaving post i believe almost a year ago now…
I guess it was still only a break instead of permanantly leaving as i was actually intending back then
Im not saying up the entire games open world content in difficulty.
Im saying maybe create difficult open world that adds onto its progression, so players could work towards something instead of hitting 270 and gear progression just flopping.
You literally said “I have never literally done hard content” in this message but still complaining about how easy the game is. Maybe you should try hard content if the easy one is too easy for you?
Nope, there was no gear progression in Guild Wars 1 just looks, some offered def vs elemental like fire or water but nothing like WoW, crafting was the only way to get the armor though, or you could collect items and trade in for the standard looking set.
For me Torghast was perfect for this. It’s not technically open world sure but is something I could join solo and not be stressed of being a burden to others while tackling harder content and learning. Sadly Torghast bosses do not have a lot of mechanics that you will later find on mythic content.
There should be some things which are hard on the open world but opt-in so the more casual players don’t feel frustrated. Like the way you activate war mode you can activate heroic world quests with x1.5 rewards. And you can join others that have activated it too. As it is right now open world is boring and that’s the one I care most of.
Yeah i would love to have options on content. Could be a beginner setting, a normal one, a hard/heroic one and a very hard one.
Would give each person more options on how to play. And it should be as easy as setting dungeon/raid difficulty.
I would wish they would put more focus on social features that make (not force, big difference here) players go into more social engagement to improve the player behavior and alongside that improve the game for new players. Also I wish they would do a voluntary “community moderator” feature, that allows verified players to put notes on players that are misbehaving within the report system (similar to how Microsoft displays “Behavior needs to improve” when a profile gets often penalized due to misconduct).
while agreed. i feel Solo challanges have been something lots have demanded, and while sure isnt for everyone, it’d make a certain community of the audience happy for sure.
they seem to have chosen Proffessions to be this for DF though.
