This is a ridiculous line of arguing when we’re talking about an expansion from over a decade ago that everyone is familiar with.
It’s on you for deciding to play a class that doesn’t do much DPS until later tiers.
You can play one of the two viable specs instead.
Other classes have two viable specs only also. If you desperately want to play dps, paladin isn’t it for you, roll something else.

Yeah, and everywhere I look I see groups, raids and guilds looking for tanks and healers, that can’t be the issue. And the point still stands, if you only want to DPS and have several DPS options, you should roll a DPS class.

You’re also free to reroll. No matter how much retri paladins will whine and cry and moan, they will not buff them. The only thing you’re doing is providing free content for rubberneckers on the forum laughing at your seething.
And at this point, you can pick your poison. Convince your group to accept you as retri paladin, reroll to a better class for dps, or switch groups to one that needs a tank or heal.
You’ve been here for long enough, you know that nobody at blizzard reads these posts. Why the self flagellation of seething at other people in the forum when you know nothing will change?

Thankfully I have a group that’ll take me for what I am, but, and this might shock you, that doesn’t mean I can’t tell how it’s wrong.
You can, of course, these are mostly free forums, but as you saw the only reaction you get is people clowning on your desperate seething, and nobody with any influence on changing this ever reading this.
