How about checking Holy Paladin? Our spec tree is useless, mastery doesn’t synergize well with the gameplay, and our main passive proc - Infusion of Light is being ignored all the time (why would anyone cast FoL or HL when they heal for 3% Tank’s HP??). Caster gameplay is boring and underperforming, and melee build is underperforming in both Damage and Healing compared to EVERY healer. Healing has never been harder than now, and now it might be even better running with Prot paladin as a main healer in group (much better than pseudo healer Holy Paladin - support class).
By trying to provide room for two specs in one Holy tree, you’ve managed to mangle both playstyles. Doing damage 24/7 trying to build “Combo points” just to do 12K DPS, while other classes fart in general direction of enemy every now and then, and still doing 400% of your damage is good gameplay (also tripling your healing, because of why not).
Why is more buttons equals more FUN? I dont understand that mentality Dhs warriors and mages have fun while most of the time press 1 button why u whine about that? Simplier game means more ppl try it and not get overwelmed but this stupid bloat of buttons to press.The game must be more simple without removing the skill so new players try and love it. More buttons doesnt mean more skill.
What i want to see is PVP talents and protection of our buffs.(freedom etc.)
More buttons = longevity for a class. it doen’t mean it will be more fun but it DOES mean it will not get boring too quickly.
Since when Paladin class fantasy is simple spec? Every game i played i picked Paladin for complexity.
“Paladin Enjoyer” is a real thing.
Paladin class fantasy. Want to play simple class? You have plenty to choose from.
“Stupud button bloat” ? lol I’d say its the opposide. You have to have brain to play this.
There is a term for that: " learn the game".
And no it doesn’t have to be more simple and it isn’t.
Its DOES mean exactly that.
I love the spec with how high skill cap it has.
Again Paladin is for people who enjoy complexity. In EVERY it has a class fantasy with a mix of dps and healer (also tank in wow).
I’ll try to summarize my opinion for the spec in 10.0.7 vs 10.0.5.
Pros:
- More survivability
- More movement
- Seraphim buff is gone
Cons:
- Divine Steed still takes 3 talent points
- Seal of Crusader (2 talent laughable damage) and Vengful Wrath feel underwhelming for a capstone talents
- Exorcism is gone
- Radiant Decree is gone (we now have only one aoe spender)
Spec BREAKING cons:
- Ret is not a ranged class. I mean WTF. It should be melee. do we even have ONE melee skill? Even autoattack can be converted to low range
- Too few buttons. “Button bloat” was never a thing in pve, only in pvp.
Bring back buttons as options in talent tree. We need buttons. Buttons are good.
Paladin fantasy is a class with complexity.
Retribution-spec is dead. We now have a simple Broccoli-spec Paladin.
Can we finaly get rid of Blade of Justice, lets just keep its effects for Exorcism which feels much better to press. Just swap BoJ name, sound and animation with Exorcism ones. Exorcism>BoJ.
Bring back Kyrian Ret for PvP. I’m more then happy to sacrifice mobility so we can deal high burst damage when we want to ret just feels underwhelming right now.
Last week I was assuming “tuning” would mean nerfs in Blizzard’s world as always, so here we go, ret gameplay, QoL uppppp, now the numbers are doowwwwnn lmao, classic.
Sadly gameplay doesnt get you into pugs, numbers do, and now I know I have to stop gearing my ret asap and focus on warlock because warlock players are not found ( 8/10 groups I join has “no lock, run” message) so they keep buffing them till someone plays them, so we get weekly buffs in every bluepost they do.
The fact that you believe ret is hard to play is beyond me and that shows that you are clueless of game design and what is fun for ppl.
And no, more buttons doesn’t mean more skill. Simple is not boring and that’s why most populated classes are rogues war dh .
As I said the game is dying cause of ppl like u with complex of superiority spamming nonesense and trying to make the game bad. Gtfo of here pls.

Love the look of all the changes, but need to seperate final reckoning and Execution sentence, they shouldnt be mutually exclusive picks. That wombo was amazing fun in SL and both are really cool abilities, we really shouldnt be forced to choose which one we take. Will also miss Radiants Decree, that was a good adition to the game
Paladins have always been a tanky clunky high damage specc why change ?
I hope we will see WoG rework, make it free with few charges and on a cd, make it heal 2-5 ppl(as it was in BfA), do anything but please not leave how it is
P.S. Remove forbearance from LoH and shorten its cd
even if it’s decent the outcry from the haters will get us nerfed into the ground again 0 hope for any improvements to ret

There is a problem with the talent Vanguards justice.
It makes JV hit for 200k non crit on stun target if u combine it with with judgment , final reckoning and wings…
I am afraid its gonna lead u nerf something else and ruin the good spec u guys made.
Maybe rework it or nerf its dmg boost.
This in pvp will be super toxic. U got to addres it before release.
PS. Are there gonna be any new PVP talents? cause there is nothing new for a while. Dont forget talents that provide Dispell or Spellsteal protection.
PS.2. Pls add Seal of Corruption-Truth i mean every1 loves this spell and seals are so iconic abilities for Ret paladin.
How are you getting that?
You crit for 100k with it using ALL those abilities to buff the damage on it not a none crit on a stunned target.
I do not believe you are actually seeing 200k none crits without all the buffs
I actualy crited for 300k on player and that is not even the final burst cause at the same time i hit with Divine storm that hits for 70k normal dmg ,also if u hit cursading strikes at the same time u can literaly 1 shot a person from full hp.
That person wasnt full vers gear but still the dmg is very high. I dont know if i can post screenshots here.

Pvp gear 411-424 ilvl and yes ive seen those numbers aswell but usualy with more then those 3 things you quoted.
The Ret tree is shaping up nicely, so thank you for that.
Thus my feedback is mostly focused on the class tree, please consider:
- Making “Lay on Hands” or “Cleanse Toxins” baseline.
- Dev aura effect baked into the other three auras, and remove all auras from the talent tree, making them baseline.
- Obduracy effect baked in.
- All Divine Steed talents combined in one, also make steed immune to slow etc.
- Make Repentance instant, or come up with a new CC that will actually be picked.
- New talent to give all Blessings 2 charges (costing only 1 talent point).
- “Improved BoP” and “Sacrifice of the Just” effects baked into the original spells.
- Add “Blessing of Spellwarding” as a talent.
I think this will free up some space for more interesting talents.
Other than that, this is my wishlist for Ret:
- Bringing back Blessing of Kings/Might/Wisdom (needed for mythic+)
- Raid utility: physical and magical damage taken debuff.
- Divine shield off GCD.
- Forbearance gone.
- Gap closer for PvP.
Your Original thing you claimed that you did not crit but i also did read it wrong i did read it as you meant you did not use judgement, final reckoning and wings.
But this is easy to balance for just make it do reduced damage and if they want to keep it in pve reduce it in PVP there is also that the numbers you see the ability doing right now does not exist on the tooltip of the ability and if they remain the same i will be personally shocked.
The ability itself had a damage number and how to get there it no longer has any number attached to it.
