They didn’t change it to work as it used to be way back when, but made a change altogether original. That’d be the distinction, for me.

I know, however they’ve chosen to reduce it’s current power through an original change instead of fixing it to work like it’s supposed to in late wrath.

I doubt Blizz is gonna do it, because the nerf brought them down to the level of other classes/specs. That said i doubt UHDK would struggle since they’re the kings of aoe and one is pretty much always mandatory for ebon plague.
Dosent curse of elements cover it anyway? Or even earth and moon
It’s much easier to spread ebon plague on aoe than CoE or EaM.
