That is your opinion and I wish you would say that rather just thinking everyone will hate it like you do. It annoys me when people think they know what everyone else thinks.
Personally Iâm enjoying SoD at the moment and havenât played retail in years, I gave up playing Wrath too when my guild collapsed. I donât like the stagnation that is in Era.
Iâm not completely pro blizzard I just agree with them a lot of the time, and I do disagree with them on quite a few issues, mostly in Classic as thatâs what I play now.

I thought it was 100%, and 75% from lvl 40? 150% before lvl 25? Also the lvl cap is currently 50, so if you want raiding, max lvl raiding has not started yet, you got time to get a char to lvl 50 even as a casual player.
Nope, Youâll never get behind. Even 5 mins are meaningful.

If characters moved to an xpac you know, will NEVER play. Why not delete?

Because nothing is gained from it.
What do I get for deleting a character? Back then you could say: space in that realm to make a different character. But if weâre assuming the person isnât even playing on that realm, thatâs not even an issue, and nothing is really gained from it
Also nothing gailed from keeping him. Only bother and sorrow each time I see name. I delete all but one from Wrath realms before them going into Cata.
Unless they change their mind, people do you know.

Blizz wonât as far as I know - Iâm hoping, is why I keep main.
Blizzard is not a single person, itâs a business. People seem to forget that.

They is not plural. If you actually look you can see itâs a reply to a comment you made about someone else deleting their characters.
Yes I see that, but for me âtheyâ is plural. So understood that Junglebeard (and me maybe too) should not delete characters, because Blizzard (they) were going change their mind and give Wrath Era. I doubt much this happens, and if, old Wrath characters sire not to be cloned or allowed there. So noting gained by keep characers in now Cata.

Why should you not pay a fee for their game? It does not matter how old it is, blizzard is still offering you a service, albeit a rather shtty one depending on how you ask.

There is, they may go onto another expansion after Cata, I think they will, and you might want to play that without starting from the beginning.
Deleting them, unless you need the space, is a bit of an OCD thing to do.
I was / am one of those players wanting Old Vanilla back. I not want to replay any expac after end of Wrath, as I not like syle of play, account wid things and map with built in questmarkers and forced specs and not larning spells and much, much more. I only keep him from nostalgia and from hoping Blizz will copy him to Wrath Era server. Never going to play him if this not happen. I old enough to remember good all the xpacs

if this refers to me, do you want to put money on me never playing cata classic? (besides liquidising my toons to give a low lvl player the gold)
you say i cant know what the playerbase wants, but the figures existed then that showed the drop off of about 2m players, and the world revamp was a true marmite event. i personally hated it. but even though they did a survey for TBC classic much later, at the time of announcement of vanilla classic, there was no talk that i saw about other expansions being classiced.
And i loved TBC. its when i started the game. but i played that. i experienced that, and didnât want to redo it, especially when at that point there was talk that each expansion was going to be classiced. but i guess we will have to wait 2 years to see what happens next.
