I’m just curious about BWL trinkets drop rate, more exactly, is it normal to see a Neltharion’s Tear once or twice a year ? Raided every week since 2020, took a break in 2022 from the game and started again with Classic Era to stumble across the same issue that made me take the long break from the game.
I’m guessing that something happened with the drop rates in BWL, especially BIS items because this wasn’t the issue back in the day where I’ve seen this trinkets drop like very 2nd or 3rd raid ( DFT seems to have the same drop rate , under 1% )
In Naxx there is a different story as Restrained Essence of Saphiron drops almost every 3rd or 4th raid so probably there is something so very wrong in BWL with the trinket drop rates.
In the past, I remember that Blizz modified the drop rate and boss of HoJ from BRD and increased its drop rate, so maybe DFT and Tear can have the same buff rates as Hoj had in the past. Also look at Rejuvenating Gem, there is no reason to put a healing trinket as a shared drop from the 3 drakes while Tear and DFT simply DON’T EXIST.
Probably another long break from the game must be taken, ain’t gonna waste 13 euros per month based on a chance to have a chance for a trinket, bis trinket but still, its not even Naxx gear.
RNJesus doesn’t love you sadly. In my guild we saw Restrained Essence of Sapphiron drop for like 12 weeks in a row, literally started handing them out to paladins and priests, whereas we haven’t seen Eye of the Dead for about good 5-6 months. It’s what it is.
Yes it is. To give you an idea of how RNG it is, the first one dropped for my guild in February 2020 (I believe on our second lockout). After that, we saw none until June, then we saw two back to back over two weeks. I can only say that, as the third in line for it, I was pleasantly surprised^^
Meanwhile, we haven’t seen a single Prestor’s Talisman of Connivery, despite not missing a single BWL lockout until the end of Classic. That’s RNG for you.
Yes, I know it’s RNG, but do I have to dedicate my life for a crap trinket ? Also Blizzard DID buff the HoJ drop rate in the past because all melee were crying on forums. But to play a game for 3 or more years and can’t even roll on certain stuff does raise some red flags. And most gigachad players geared up by the teeth ofc that don’t agree with this, it will ruin their little gdkp business.
Am I just stupid or … For GDKP groups to sell trinket it has to drop for them as well? And it in no way interferer with your drop rate?

Alright, I guess that settles it. Please let me know Blizzard if you are going to take any action regarding the current issue, aka buff the drop rate of that Neltharion’s Tear and DFT. Until then I’ll check if Zenimax Online likes my money. ESO looks damn nice.

WoW Classic is my poison, I playes only WoW ever since 2006. Not going to change ways now. No other game to me offers same fun and freedom as Classic Era. If you wanna get p**** off just because you not get covetted bauble in-game is your choice, but not blame others for liking a good game.
