Reviving Horde Hub Rp - Ideas and Suggestions

i think the cleft of shadow could be a real cool spot to deal with magic

you cant find purely elven politics there but people could create some political discussions and tensions between their races

Orgrimmar has a lot of potential, it just has to be done right

Okay but actually why do I see more Vulpera mages with enough knowledge of the Arcane to make a Nightborne blush than anything else?
I get seeing a handful but I genuinely see more of them than I see Tauren.

Stop reading from my diary.

One of my duties as a Forsaken separatist was teaching Vulpera magic to culturally subvert and weaken The Horde.

Shameless self promotion. Although not just this thread but the few similar ones I’ve seen the past month or so is one of the larger reasons I thought about starting this project.

Short version of the thread I’ve linked is whenever a good brawl is on an audience spawns out of a dead Valley of Honor. I believe (And kinda seen here) people wanna RP in Orgrimmar again or anywhere but they fly over the top and see nothing going on down below.
This is just one activity but a small addition is still an addition right!

My clan is putting together a social gathering that’ll take place within Orgrimmar. The link to the forum post can be found, below!

Its picking up, seems to be a Horde revival going on and I’m frankly very excited, can start finally using my Orc.

Honestly? After seeing how good it is to RP outside of cities I see no reason to return to them or any other hub.

As mentioned city RP in Orgrimmar especially for the Horde elf races and several others was just a complete dissonance. It doesn’t feel like a blood elf would -want- to be and you can only make so much excuses for ‘diplomatic presence’.

I personally always found Silvermoon boring as well seeing that recently most of the regular frequenters (until I left) were mostly meme RPers such as the gravitas bros, not to mention community issues.

Life is so much better RPing in places it make sense for my character to RP and avoid the clown fiestas that developed in cities.

That’s why I always dislike the
 Tavern Elves

Says the forsaken! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah city rp isnt for everyone, be great though for Ogrimmar to pick up again like it seems to be with these new projects, plenty of people, plenty love city rp, and be a shame for only Alliance to have any real hubs going on, I look forward to the Horde having this hub revival

What do you mean?

I think they mean the amount of undead that rp as basic civvies or tavern keeps, however kinda odd as alot of undead are also just risen peasants/civvies, and do perform civilian tasks, as seen by the montigues(incorrect spelling I imagine) who are a banker family, every race has civilians, its more seing deathknights or demon hunters as civvies I find odd at times, every race has a need for civilians, other than
maybe Dracys in future I guess?

Yeah I never advocated for Forsaken being in Orgrimmar. It’s way too hot and the Cleft is way too cramped.

It made some sense during Sylvs reign, especially after UC/Lordaeron getting a splash of green goo, as for the heat? I mean undead are magically undead anyways, so unsure how that works myself personally, temperature/climates ect, wow kinda has a “magic!?! dont worry, its all cool!” mentality, so who knows.
Edit: That being said yeah, I imagine being Horde or not, as an undead former human(maybe of Lordaeron
who hates Orcs lets be real) chilling in the Orcish capitol surrounded by Orcs may be weird for even a horde aligned race such as Forsaken.

I just think Andorhal was an easier place for Forsaken to go.
If I had MY choice, I would have Forsaken resettle Stratholme but that’s just me and a topic for another day

Dont, thats a shout Ive often heard/made myself, Stratholme would make a great new Forsaken Capitol, and if they do so they can just give me specifically the Rivenderes reigns to make it all good/cool on that front, I wont bat an eyelid if its sweet like that, jokes aside though Lordaeron is hugely going to waste without some kinda Forsaken capitol and nowhere is more fitting than Strat.

Maybe the forsaken can move into Deatholme up in the Ghostlands?
