I would like to play combat with daggers spec as rogue, in PVE.
But how much DPS would I lose? Am I looking at a 1% DPS loss or worse?
By how much does Swords outperform daggers on rogue?

That is just showing Swords is better, which I know, but still not by how much.
I can accept losing 1 or 2% dps if that lets me have my preferred playstyle.
dagger rogue here, assuming you dont play hemo spec in raid which is not so good but still way better than boomies or ret dps
you are looking at backstabbing and slice and dice forever, and extremely rare in the right circumstances with thistle tea and adren being able to use one eviscerate
also more annoying to do consistently well since bosses often turn and are annoying to hit from behind when you need to
for swords you dont even backstab or ambush but you do spam sinister strike forever and can also use hemo but again pve not good
you have a slightly increased chance to eviscerate
