Rogue is unplayable in PvP

You could have 5k and prolly still get owned :rofl:
Just don’t think the same counts for good rogue’s, they do know how to position themselves.
And even so no class is supposed to survive multiple attackers, especially not the rogue.

never offtanked the last boss because ONLY bad tanks require an offtank since the fight is extremely easy to solo tank. also, that same ele shammy did a 99 parse 500 dps on the fight before. evasion i only use in p3, and when u have 5k hp and u tell ur healers to keep you above 2k, you cannot be globbaled

The 2nd and last phase he hits fairly hard, you don’t need a offhand as such but the occassional taunt from a dps warrior for example so the healers can catch up certainly helps.

i mean the rng combo he does on rogue when he combines punch and melee is only 1,5k, and im at 160dtps which is also really low. i do agree that a hunter pet taunt during flamethrower can be nice tho, because the pet is immune to it and u can use it to easy drop stacks
edit: wait i just saw u said p2, u mean the freeze phase? i find that phase really easy, only fire punch phase can be problematic if u dont reset the debuff

Blood madness is not suitable for that. You cant choose fight around boss especially and real reward is there.

Someone already mentioned here (or in other topic), that perplexity was throwing out videos saying that rogue is not that good in SoD on lvl 40. Yes a skilled rogue in 1v1 or 1v2 might be good. but not in group content, and on PvE server there is no wpvp even if there was, wpvp does not give you reputation for item progression.

And also consider learning curve of a class. You have a easy class, blizz gives it insanely OP runes usable in any content. You have rogue which is hard to master and gives them below average runes useful only in 1v1.

There was someone saying that you cant nuke down 3-4k health pool in one stunlock, even if you crit every attack, especially if they have rank 5 trinket, and thats a fact
 by the time you do that, someone else from behind 30+y range gives you a 2k spell nuke.

As soon as they break the stun they can hit back hard with insta cast spells and roots and slows and parry and dodge and high armor

Why you assume I was at full health? You know that people spam AoE there and there is no way i can sit down and eat full right?

Also my full hp is no longer 1.6k, with buffs i am almost 3.4k, and yet people still often destroy me, because everyone progressed in items, its not locked in time.

Rogues are in a sad state.
They need COS and dance of shadows next phase

love the trolls here tbh, rogues can body anyone in a 1v1 and kill most in their stunlock already. and can reset mostly on demand.

Still doesn’t change the fact that Rogues are literally OP in both types of content, and the devs being blind. If you ain’t a paladin or a frost mage, you will die to rogue 10/10. But hey you take your retail character and troll people with it on the forums.

yeah no rogues arent fine, having to either play paladin or spec into frost as mage to even have a chance is lowkey garbage designing and balancing.
