Hello,
at 1st sorry for my worse english.
Im not experienced in this game and im looking for good PvP sets.
I found this web site:
Looks like its saying that Elite PvP set (from Honor rank 12-13) is better, than Bloodfang or Deathdealers sets.
I dont understand why. If i will compare stats of each peace of sets, both of “PvE” sets have much more better stats than Epic PvP. Both of them are giving nice strengh bonus (= more AP), and much more agility.
Also Deathdealers set with only 5 sets and bonus 15% for Eviscerate means lot of bonus dmg in PvP - and you can still combinate it with other bonuse set, bcs you let 4-5 spot for other set pieces.
Only advantage i see about Epic PvP set is more stamina, but for example PvP Epic set has 6 pieces and Deathdealers got 5, so in total you need to add 1 pieces (15-30) stamina to deathdealers to make compare 6 on 6 and than its not big diff.
Im not saying “PvE” sets are better for PvP than PvP Epic set, as new guy in this i just dont understand why.
As new guy i also understand i will not have dat fast Deathsdealer or Bonescythe sets, but Bloodfang T2 is not for me hard to get.
So if i want be PvP good both - open world and BGs/AVs ets… what you think is better sets?
Damage is very high in p5/6 pvp. When you already kill players very easily, more damage is not good. It does not work like pve. Its higher numbers yes, but wasted and making your character weaker.
A difference between always insta death and healers actually being physically able to heal you; is quite important.
So stamina becomes rather valuable.
You could still go glasscannon and live/die on your cds (your rather long cds). And possibly assist it with a titans flask.
But I do not think that very ideal for larger scale engagements.
For 1v1/ world pvp it is clearly different when you can lock down your opponents. Defensives has less importance then. Still if you try for 1vX (more than 2/3) you would want a more robust set even then.
Ideal is you obtain both -then mix match for various situations and can swap on the fly w/ item rack or similar. So you have a set for when you know you will take abit of pain, a second for bursting and possibly later even sets to counter certain magic schools.
Bgs; imo roughly 5k hp unbuffed is what you should aim for. Generally id say 5,5-6 for a melee but rogues cant get as much easily. Still 5,2 ish is doable.
Then with a titans ontop and a fortitude (possibly also zanzas), then you have the ability to be fairly resilient.
But if you sit 4-4,5k hp ; the problem is ranged instants alone could two shoot you. You are relegated to abit of a one pump chump then. Enemy ranged simply tab target to you; and you are gone.
That is the type of hp a fresh quest green warrior would have btw, and it is the type of hp a full t3 rogue has.
For some reason i always believed that t2, seems to be the best set for pvp. and the best for general use. However yes bis is t3. As for r13 vs t2 set. I think t2 is better.
