First of all I’d like to address my love for mace spec, at least for the 40-49 bracket.
To me a mace rogue needs fast maces, in order to stun proc more often. However, when I at some point will go for lvl 60, it seems that only dagger or sword spec is worth using.
I can’t help wondering why no fast attack speed maces has been added to the endgame. The utility of a mace rogue is awesome I think, and by far the most fun I ever had as a rogue, in fact I love it so much that I’m considering staying at 49, just for the fun of it.
Question: Is a mace spec rogue worth anything at lvl 60?
Question: Does anyone know if there’s any Blizzard plans on adding new equipment to classic?
I don’t think there will be new equipment coming. It’s already known what items will come with the next phases. You could just check databases for hammers in classic wow…

Hammer rogue is more a pvp spec and that makes it also more difficult to get items through pve content. You could buy yourself a raid spot and your item drops from a guild that sells out their raids… but i think there aren’t any good hammers in Zg/Mc…
From what I can tell, the only decent endgame offhand mace for rogues, is Anubisath Warhammer.
That of course is an offhand mace, but most other maces at level 60, has an attack speed of 2.6 and above, which in my opinion, is too slow for the utility to be reckoned with. I reckon that you can argue that higher damage sinister strikes might be preferable over high attack speed, but to me mace spec is all about machinegunning.
I primarily play this game for PvP, and I agree with what you said, Kemurai, mace spec is mainly for PvP.
I think you will find that it is quite crucial to be able to dispose of your enemy in a timely manner once you get to 60, meaning you want a slow MH. I get what you’re saying, but if you’re going to rely on a 5% proc in pvp without a MH with a decent top end you’re in for a bad time tbh.
