its like world of roguecraft in classic but with the addition of shadowstep + cloak of shadows
rogues destroy tbc pvp, basically impossible to kill 1v1 because they will just cloak + vanish. and will probably dominate 2v2/3v3 arena ladders this season.
i got a 63 rogue but i dont want to level her since they are so bad in pve …
im leveling my priest and i got hit by a 3,3k ambush by a level 66 UD rogue, and you cant dot them (cloak) or fear (wotf)
just wait for resilience.
Resilience will help, as will lvl70. No rogues will be opening with ambush once you’re geared unless maybe when you’re sat down drinking. PVP in WoW is very much rock/paper/scissors, don’t focus too much on 1v1s. Saying that, mages, priests, shamans and druids are tough fights for rogues.
how is it rock paper scissor when rogues beat every class 1v1
at least in vanilla you should kill rogues if you dotted them outside of stealth, now they just clos vanish

Yes that’s ‘normal’. Rogues are the strongest pvp class in this expansion and they only get better with access to stronger pve gear.

It’s been well documeneted over 16 Years that Rogues are strong in TBC PvP. How on earth you missed that mark is beyond any possible theory.

Though maybe I’m bit biased.
Rogues have real problems with good sl locks, especialy hunters and ferals.
As disc u will also be a challange for rogues.
As sp u are dinner; in arena wont matter that much.
Also a good frost mage can punish rogue hard.
Leveling phase doent count.
Yea rogue can be nr 1- but u need rly high skills to achieve that.
Improve ur gameplay instead of focusing on how powerfull rogues are.

Rogues don’t beat every class 1v1. As I said, mages will kill an equally skilled rogue and disc priests, druids and shamans need luck to reliably beat.

I don’t mean right now, I mean when classes have their PVP sets. Tanky mages will beat rogues, at least that was the case when I was playing on TBC a couple of years ago.
Rogues are always overpowered first season of an expansion because of the toolkit compared to low gear / res of other people against it… atleast season 1 and season 5.
OK and? This game is a time capsule, it’s a recreation of what the game was like. Everybody knew Rogues would be very strong in PvP, how are you only just finding this out?

And this guy is arguing about some spells or racials are overpowered. He literally plays the best race/class combo but complains about racials. Now he complains about other classes. Maybe you should just learn to play dude or reroll a rogue (but this won’t help you, you will find something else to complain about). Noob.
