Its just mutilate. Hits way too hard. So much so that some of my rogue friends are complaining there is no other alternative to play atm.
Imo mutilate should be redesigned to be like TBCs, requiring to hit the target from the back, at the very least. A slight dmg nerf is probably also necessary, but as I understand it, its not OP in PvE, so they might need to get some compensation for it.
Second to this post. I would like them to be nerfed… There is no counterplay for them.

Shadowstep/BtE/QD exist but hey apparently it’s fair to stun further than a paladin who has a min cd on HoJ. Nerf the absurd range on BtE/QD ontop of Muti and we are gonna have good rogue nerfs.
anyone defending rogue being OP is either playing rogue or deluded beyond belief.

We sacrifice our deadly brew for BTE Rune. And 1 dot its game over. Just wait when we Get cloak of shadows. Then you can cry

Without the mutilate rogues would have had nothing. There is A reason they panic pushed out the energy reduction. Couse they forgot pve Runes for us !
Im prebis + STV weapon and pvp exalted and 2 items from gnome. + epic leather gloves+bis blue Back from higlands. Never have I ever crit over 700 on A plate user. So Thats bs

You sacrifice absolutely nothing for Between the Eyes, one is Envenom and the other is Blade Dance. Don’t even need Envenom because Mutilate hits like a truck.
Actually mr. clueless here, if you go deadly brew you sacrifice loads of CC stuff like Gauge and Blind + Quick Draw.
There is A rogue build with Ambush into muti. Dont understand why the hate. Only difference with this and classic is that we had to reset. Its the same story either way. Instead of me having to Vanish and do it again aint it better to send you to the graveyard faster?
Gouge is almost non existent apart from the rogue vs melee or int A cast! With the toolkit we have could had slapped any class with cooldowns either way. Blizz Even gave you trinket at rank 5! So noobs like you can klll the noob rogues that will panic

And why Even bother commenting when you will blow up any rogue with reck bomb later on! And rogue is one of the hardest classes to master on top level! Bubbleboi go play pokemon or something!

Lmfao what? Muti costs 40 energy, Ambush 60 energy, it’s literally spammable for 2CBs.
again, you use it for many reasons:
- bandage
- making distance for a restealth
- emergency interrupt
- gauge into a backstab/mutilate
CS>Muti Spam>BtE trinket
… casters don’t get to do anything, the second they cast its a kick.
… melee will get kited by rogues due to crippling poison.
by the point they get anything meaningful off it’s back to BtE into Mutispam, you are dead. With or without trinket, what difference does it make, rogues literally OP damage from a spamable ability ontop of crazy mobility/CC.
Dont forget your own abilities.
SWD and Mindblast be critting just as high as these other 1 shots.
