Hello. As I remember from vanilla the rogue’s diary that you pickpocketed were 45 silver to vendor but now they sell for 2.70 something…Is this a bug or an intended change since pickpocket farming is almost useless at this state. And no i didnt play on private servers and checked out information from 2006-2007 and saw that it was 45 silver at vanilla. I thought it was #NoChanges yet our stuff got nerfed already. Anyone knows if it is a bug or intended change ?
Searching for the thing it appears that there are two versions of it, one that says “all the pages are blank” and is indeed worth 45 silver to sell and another that’s locked and requires a lockpicking skill of 5000 to open, which appears to have the 2,5s sell value. The latter appears to be the one currently in the game, it was changed to the “all the pages are blank” version at a later point (wowhead says patch 1.12.1, classic itself is on patch 1.12.0).
Ok thank you very much for the heads up. Then we should expect it to become 45 silver on the next patch.
Wouldn’t bank on that, the next classic patch will be its own thing, not 1.12.1. Might very well be that blizzard keep it like this.
