I hoped this thread would generate some more Tauren RolePlayers in general, and it did for a bit.
But now, due to the retail version of the game being at a sort of ‘stand-still’, they have sort of gone AWOL.
I suppose they will return with Dragonblight, but I really wanted to get some RolePlay going for the Tauren kin already now.

This guide was the reason why I changed realms with my HM Tauren to Argent Dawn! It seems like a lot of fun!
Btw I’m not saying it just because I am part of their guld, this guide helped me long before I have joined them.

There is no Tauren in Kalimdor or Highmountain that would turn down a great feast, and you know how to make an excellent one!
With newly added songs around the fire, it it a joy to spend a nights in our village!

As a long time Tauren and Sunwalker Roleplayer. This Guide hits all the right spots. i do hope more people get into Tauren RP.
I would love to see more People play Sunwalkers.

Greetings!
I plan to make a mini campaign for myself and a friend of mine, or perhaps more of a qusest.
In stead of having many NPC’s I thought, why not make use of actual tauren roleplayers? Let me know if you are interested, and I will give you means to get better in touch for more details!

Very surprised I didn’t see this until now cause this is amazing, I always welcome more guides on the Forums!
A question, how would you guys handle the influx of Tauren Mages and the lore surrounding that? I assume by referencing An’she and Mu’sha in particular? I could see a Tauren Mage essentially manifesting much the same magic as Druids almost though the Tauren Enchanters in Thunder Bluff suggests some light forays into the arcane as well.

Concerning mages for Tauren, there has always been a form of enchanters and some mystics among the Grimtotem. So working through Mu’sha, is definitely an option.
However, arcane is old, and so is the Tauren race.
I believe there for, it isn’t unlikely that they begin the path of mage now. Or have been doing it for a bit, like apprentices, and still are at that level.
Like any in-game ‘class’, like braves, it takes many, many years to become the step above apprentice/trainee, I feel.
