With Rumble in the Jungle being put on ice (hopefully just temporarily), I’m putting up something as a replacement
The Horde’s power in the northern eastern kingdoms hangs in balance. Tirisfal’s primacy has been shattered with the sack of Brill and the destruction of the Undercity. Silverpine’s withered forests - once firmly in the grasp of the Forsaken - now struggle more than ever with worgen raids. Despite promising news from Alterac, the forces in Hillsbrad are bled dry - either sent to reinforce the Arathi warfront or stretched thin guarding the Sludge Fields and Tarren Mill against invaders and rebels. Silvermoon has been left isolated…
Plans are drafted - and soon intercepted by SI:7 agents - for the Horde’s counterattack. The old ruins of the Scarlet Enclave still have the remains of a port and walls that could be made of use with only limited repairs. From there, they can try and regain control of the situation. Their new allies, the Zandalari Empire, have interests in the region also - eyeing the plague-ravaged remains of Zul Mashar as the possible site for an imperial prison colony.
The Alliance, of course, has other ideas - conspiring the strike before the Horde has time to fortify and sending an expeditionary force into the Ghostlands themselves, to tighten the noose around the High Kingdom by raising their own port in the ruins of the Shalandis Isle.
This will be restricted with the typical AD ruleset (to be clarified later) and is planned to run from May 1st - May 8th with a possible follow-up soon after depending on IC events / OOC interest
Depending on sign-ups (and ratio of Horde/Alliance) beyond that we take more people - please keep an eye on the sign-up list to see if you’re good to attend or not. I intend to be extremely harsh to guys who turn up regardless and throw the campaign off-balance
