With the recent Theatre of War concluded and the Eastern Plaguelands left with a stalemate, a new campaign will be held as a follow up: Theatres of War: Wetlands – The Red Flood.
The legacy continues…
The great Battle for Stromgarde rages on, blood is spilled every day in the name of the Alliance and the Horde, the Arathi Highlands have become fields of never ending slaughter. However, the warriors of the Horde and soldiers of the Alliance give their lives in vain – another bloody stalemate. Adamant in defence of Stromgarde Keep, soldiers hold the ground; relentless in their charge, warriors throw themselves against its walls.
The cunning minds of the Forsaken High Command devise a plan to turn the tides of war in their favour, to end the stalemate in the highlands, to boldly claim victory of the Warfront that are now the Arathi Highlands: A deep operation, striking the Wetlands from the sea and circumventing Stromgarde’s forces, shall cut off the soldiers of the Alliance from their supply lines and allow the Horde’s warriors to outlast them in the end.
Some loose lips allow SI:7 agents to pick up rumours of impending doom, the word travels quickly albeit vaguely, soon the Alliance High Command rallies men and women at their disposal to form a line of defence in the Wetlands.
This will be restricted RP PvP with the typical AD ruleset (to be clarified later) and is planned to run from June 19th - June 25th with a 100% certain restricted RP PvP follow-up campaign in August.
