-Alot- of people rallied to it nonetheless. And that’s when I start tossing crap back but not screaming OOC insults due to being absolutely vexxed OOC.
In all honesty I believe “rule breaking” really goes for both sides equally, one person does it. The opponents gets mad, they do it back and forth. People pick up on it and you’re dealing with a absolute mob of people who go at each other’s throat.
Well the answers clear, we do RP-pvp with /roll now.
I have a paladin with 250k hp in my guild?! Damn I need to get that guy to do some mythics with me, any idea what his name is? Also to clarify, people yelling in OOC were not my guys. Check the screenshots.
As for the unrestricted at the end, it was fun. I had a great little fight with three trolls on my rogue shortly after we all finished up too.
it’s a vicious cycle of violence i just wish we had someone to break the wheel
May I ask WHEN did he name your guild?
Awh, not this again, we just cleaned up after the last crazy white girl with dragons
Apology accepted & mistakes happen, especially in such hectic situations. Be careful with public accusations like that in the future, however.
As someone that went out of his way to ensure that our ““unrestricted”” killed as few people as possible, with constant raid warnings, whispers, and as everyone can attest, voice communication, I take it personally.
Gravity’s a b*tch.
Probably due to buffs, and his name is a little shift but I’ll look over your guild roster and hook you up. Might’ve been protection spec or just the priest buff. And then again, I didn’t refer to the Seventh -Directly-. I was just stating there is -a- paladin.
I was the one who said one of their paladins, that racist thinks we look alike.
all tribals look the same
A savage is a savage
Rise up against the troll scum
I will fight you and expose your pink hair, Kora’je.
I’m sorry, what, can’t hear you over our cool gods who actually aid us.
we need a catch-all derogatory term for trolls.
there is too many of 'em nowadays
Found the name and it was nae a Paladin, was a Warrior at the name of Zarek.
The Hand of Zul/Painted Shields have been great in the Hinterlands part of the campaign. They brought all sorts of barriers up to stop the advancing the Alliance and the way they broadcasted and showed who had been empowered by the ritual through them taking ethereal and large forms which walked everywhere was absolutely amazing, though I can understand that it might be annoying to some Alliance players if they joined late to have gotten up the city, almost defeating the Trolls just for the Trolls to use their allstar and ten minutes later you’re back at the bunker.
What I have a bit of a gripe with is ‘ladders!’. Throughout the conflict the Alliance seemed to use ladders amongst other things to endlessly bypass the Hordes chokes and lines. This would have been fine -if- it was done fairly. In most sieges normally you’d see the sieging faction constantly putting up ladders or ropes just for them to be pushed down or broken apart. In this campaign the ladder would go up and suddenly seven alliance would just fly up to the top tier as multiple people emoted trying to push the ladder down, and then if it was accepted that the ladder go pushed over, you’d just hear a shout ‘grapples boys!’ and seven more would come up. I’m giving a big shoutout to all Alliance players who did it fair and square but unfortunately without monitoring that tactic is just a tad overpowered.
In other news THANK YOU to the players who were at the bottom of the cliff as us Bilgewaters attempted to take Albrecht away to our lair to be questioned. You were all very patient as the Battalion true to form bickered, squawked and ultimately blasted off and crashed into the city!
Ah yeah he’s one of our raiders…Found out he was using Warbreaker right up until day three as well.
As Murgy the Murloc on the Hand of Zul side of the fighting up in the Hinterlands, I had an absolute blast with this RP-PvP campaign and I loved the impact it had on the RP. I have no clue how the casual RP and what not went for the Alliance however every single day’s event had significant impact on the surrounding casual RP and it made for a real siege-like atmosphere which I thought was pretty cool. Witnessing the casualties (specifically with Painted Shields but also a few devastating injuries in the Hand) was pretty cool and sad at times, it showed that this was war. Having certain layers of the city blocked off IC, unable to use during RP due to fire and what not from the war was also pretty cool and as the Horde, I felt really blocked in. Now realistically, I can agree to a degree with the Alliance in that the Horde realistically should have lost and got cornered, however that’s unfortunately just not easy to pull off in RP where about 95% of players do not want their characters to die and about 75% do not want their characters to suffer major injuries (warning these % were pulled out my lower region). Overall, I think the ending was pretty cool and fair though it should be pointed out, it was the Alliance who decided to go fully unrestricted first and we whooped your asses, sorry.
The RP-PvP itself was pretty good, clean considering some nights a lot of the officers of the campaign were not attending however I think hunters need way more restrictions for future events. They are by far, without a doubt the most overpowered DPS class in RP-PvP thanks to them being able to use cooldowns on their very annoying pets that charge into people and what not and when they fall they just ress. They also have the most OP RP-PvP abilities that were permitted such as steady shot, rapid fire, etc. Hunters were the main rule breakers almost all the time, with a few exceptions to Paladins on the first day of RP-PvP where constant stuns were being thrown out but I feel that changed later on. People need to understand it is RP then PvP and not the other way round, way too many people going for kills and as someone who uses a magic pet mirror and prisms to RP, it really sucked when people nuked when I was near death, hence why I had to use a few uncharacteristic ice blocks.
The RP was phenomenal once again though, my interactions with the Alliance IC during this campaign was absolutely awesome, even made a few friends and characters who no doubt I will encounter again. Stormwind Infantry, your infantry are awesome (hunters less so they are a wee bit… might wanna check up on them) but I loved my interactions with the Stormwind Infantry footmen especially, that was real cool.
I look forward to the next campaign, see you all then! Thanks to everyone who was kind to Murgy!
