Oh really, how about on the first day where I shouted 5 times to knock it off with the Silence usage, then that same person continued for the next day. or when one of your paladins used a stun then ran through a bulwark.
Or back in Ogrepowered where you refused GMs telling you to equalize your group. And that’s not mentioning your Guilds rampant swearing issue where every other word is either the f word or the C word.
As I mention later on. They are thanks to given me back the fun in rp-pvp so it will “Hopefully” better to do it with Rotgarde again. Peace out and Thanks for a interesting 3 last days. Missed the others mostly for irl things <3
on paper the idea sounds cool, probably would have been executed better if absolutely everyone was on the same page regarding means and ends.
unfortunately i wasn’t there so i cant really say much about how it actually went down but in previous experience people have never liked unrestricted mechanics blending with restricted because people get that bloodlust and go for cheeky snipes. (the will of the officer isn’t the will of the people)
glad the horde enjoyed it, maybe the alliance should have had some means to balance it out, a battle of giants or something who knows
Given that the Hinterlands was somehow organised overnight, 2 days into the overall campaign, I’d say the past few days were well executed with only minor issues that are pertinent to any rp-pvp.
I’d even say it was better than some campaigns that had months of planning.
I’ve noticed there’s a mega difference in ilvl between Alliance and Horde, causes issues a lot. Alliance just need to do more content, you could be doing restricted ruleset, a 405/410 geared player is going to slam a 350 player even if they go easy
Swearing isn’t overly common in the guild actuallly, freck and feck being used commonly, which is always pretty cringy anyway. So not sure where that is coming from.
And yes, we’ve had a -lot- of people in my guild silence, stun and even nuke people out over the last six or so campaigns we’ve been through. We’ve also kicked a lot of people. But this is also a common thing in RP-PvP, rules are to be enforced. And we do our best to do it, on all sides. The silence in question is from our shadow priest, Seren. And they were told off for that, and it didn’t happen after that.
As for Ogrepowered, we did balance numbers for the most part. Going as far as having about 40 people sitting out Alliance side, the main issue was the much larger desire for RP-PvP Alliance side, it balanced out throughout the campaign.
Again, we should honestly focus on the fact that the campaign went very well, especially given the fact that it was prepared on short notice with the change of scene.
I really wanted to have experienced that fantastic way it ended. But, with the bursting I didn’t. Amidst the chaos, also being told the eight empowered were unrestriced, it was easy to draw conclusions that they were the ones that killed me. Looking at the combat log, It wasn’t. Unless I’m missing a name. I understand your point, and I will say it was very immature of us to react that way. I’ll apologise, I’m sorry.
But, this was what I experienced as I ran away from what should have been something epic. I fell off the wall on the fourth floor which is what killed me. But… well have a look. Combat log.
Actually thinking about it, having everyone bar healers without artifact weapons was really nice
Provided you don’t absolutely pump the damage on some of the more damage heavy healer specs, you should be able to just swap your weapons out (they give a huge portion of your mainstat + stam levels anyway) and have your healers outheal all the damage, might need to remove rings or something as well?
Gotta say, I was unaware of CC’s but I saw my buddy Jo’kar get -BURSTED- by a paladin on 250k HP total while he has 46k. That’s when I, addmitedly, toss sht back at the paladin and sought out his death. Then I saw the yell (EVERYONE NUKE) and then after that (READY CUKS) so you know. Them running towards us and declaring unrestricted made us fall back and beat them up.
I believe, personally, I enjoyed it. I wasn’t there all too much but the last thing was absolutely amazing due to me being told that the horde -would- lose, but it turnt entirely on it’s heels and it was just pleasing, seeing Loa and stuff becoming important and answear our call and stuff. Lovely.
I personally enjoyed the campaign, even couldn’t log every night and take part it everything about it, sadly. Which is a shame and I’m peeved about it. But it was truly epic, and i had a goof experience. And I thank everyone for it, specially organizers.
But well, i believe some miscommunication may have happened, which is probably the reason behind the issues currently being raised. Not saying whose fault it was, really. What i have been told that happened seemed interesting, even had some issues within, which mostly seemed to be due to misunderstanding and miscommunication. Although in the end, the main plot has been executed, wasn’t it? And it have been handled, managed and ended well, just like Conviction said. So there wouldn’t be any point about flaring up some drama, but to make everyone sad. It may have not happen yet, but i see where it’s going slowly, friends. Chill down, and focus on the joy you had, not the disappointment.
If there was anything from me in this Campaign, which hurted or made someone upset, etc, i am wholeheartedly sorry about it, and apologize.
And please, don’t flare drama for everyone’s and everything’s sake.
P.S: I mean NO ONE specific, really no one personal. All is in general, first to myself.
man, i gotta say i doubt the majority of the alliance condone that sort of attitude can only chalk it up to people who havent been around the scene much.
it’d be really cool if people laid down the law in raid chat in future or uninvited people who yelled like that
