Coming from a guild that exclusively uses autoattacks only, since we’re all prot warriors/paladins, I can’t comment much on it. I also swear that tanks take more damage in pvp, change my mind.
Edit: in response to your edit, I agree. But I take a little bit of issue that it boils down to the individual and not the group - which is sort of the point of larger scale rppvp imo. The group efforts, group tactics and all that - many of which cannot be emphasised or portrayed with the gameworld pvp.
One warrior can crazily use rampage to display that they’re a nutty fighter, but a group of grunts can’t lock them down and/or mob them - unless the crazy warrior in question chooses to acknowledge it and back off.
Edit edit: I guess we could PROFESSIONALLY align our shield slams [since it’s the only damned ability we’re allowed to use] and have all 15 of us do it at the same time in order to take off 3% of a 350ilvl person’s health, but… It’s just not the same.
Tanks do actually take +40% damage in instanced pvp, but it doesn’t apply to world pvp + defensives aren’t restricted so cycle that shield block/ignore pain.
I had fun during the campaign although due to IC injuries my character couldn’t be there for the glorious finale.
Alliance, sometimes I think you’re just -trying- too hard to match our savage awesomeness. Once you’ve mastered the way of the shark then we’ll talk again bby. Canned food is easy but boring.
I don’t play tank in RPvP often but if I were to guess, the reason you’re getting this feeling is probably due to gear and the design of tanks. They moved tanks away from just having the biggest HP pool you could possible have so that you could tank hits > healer heals you up, and towards active mitigation (press [shield block/shield of the righteous/bone shield] or die).
Alliance also seem to be way down on the healer count compared to Horde, someone can probably correct me or agree with this from Horde side but it feels like the Horde have 8+ healers in Loch Modan?
I get that content isn’t for everyone, and BfA’s dungeons are especially dog but once you get to a certain point, it’s like 30 mins to get a 410 ilvl piece at the end of the week at least, there’s probably a few of the geared RPers Alliance side that are fine with helping people gear through M+ and stuff (myself included)
Pretty sure that is true, at the Hinterlands, what I observed was that we had more healers but then the rest of our forces was mostly Frontline fighters with a few ranged, while the alliance had more ranged attackers.
Yes, to be clear to all the Alliance our side in Loch Modan, as well as any Horde unawares. Our finale is tonight… Still come on, we’ve got the big bang prepared. Should be fun.
Edit: I’m Polemus. Race change hasn’t altered name clearly.
