Sadly its closed so I cant update it but just wanted to let anyone interested know that the mount just pops in the bags, no looting involved
Now excuse me while I go pick up some sweet lady goblins in my new fire bird 
Nice one, Goagrill! That’s a pretty rare drop so you’re very lucky to have looted that :).
Most newer mount drops like that would be part of the “Personal Loot” system that will drop the reward straight into your bags rather than looting it off the boss corpse or a reward chest. The mechanics of this have changed over the years, so it’s definitely a worthwhile question and I thank you for updating us with your findings!
