While I personally don’t see this necessary or even working at all, current surveys hint at changes regarding the Dungeon Group (Finder) Systems being considered.
In my opinion such a feature for Mythic+ would just turn out badly, like Guided Games in Destiny 2 did. The good players won’t use it and the bad players won’t have enough people using the system.
Solo Shuffe has a massive problem with Healers not queueing. Like everything else in PvP does.
It will be likely faster to just apply manually to 5 groups instead of joining a 15 minute auto-queue for a key group you have no control over and no guarantee that they will play their class right since you can’t see their rating.
At this point I hope they implement it, kinda sick of all the m+ autoqueue requests. They have gotten their punishments for leavers now, let them have their autoqueue aswell. Not like it will affect me in any way, shape or form anywas.
what i can say is that there is a far bigger chance i would do m+ if there was a solo que option then if not, perhaps that is the point of it to figure out wheter or not more people would play it or not
There’s no plans to implement a solo queue. The concerns still remain about random matchmaking for a system with a chance of failure being a mismatch that leads to frustration and toxicity. Ideally, they want to focus on improving the group finder so players can find others with similar goals.
Mythic+ in general is now thought of as a season over season system rather than an expansion over expansion system. The learnings and philosophy is evolving each Season rather than waiting for a new expansion to implement changes.
offical words from blizzard.
If only the OP did a little research from offical sources before posting.
What is described is not a solo queue system, but more customization for the already existing dungeon finder.
Things like you input criteria, and instead of having to decide who to invite, the system will invite the first ppl that fit that criteria, or that you can search for groups that leader has a resilient key.
Like all the things in the survey are extra functionality that do not remove anything from the existing dungeon finder, just offer extra optional functionality.
