How do we call it when a guy gets in power and bans the opposition? Help me out quick.
You 100% never been to Russia. Your brainwashed hate is real, ngl.
Getting on an imaginary moral high ground, generalizing and judging over other people while being the same you despise or even worse… how do we call this again?
Was more referring to it as a figure of speech. They’ll be stigmatized and villainized even more profoundly, much like happened to the germans after the WW.
Guess we’ll have to update our iron curtain firewall.
For as far as WoW goes though, I’d be more than happy to see them gone from the EU pool, there’s just not a single logical reason for them to be in here.
They’re not EU, they don’t want to be EU, they don’t share any values with the EU and they’re pretty clearly not wanted by the EU.
So just seperate them entirely, problem solved, everyone happy.
As I said, we are done, don’t bother replying. I will not react anymore to anything from such a disgusting individual. You have brought nothing to the table except apologizing the actions of war criminals, lying, making stuff up, twisting people’s words, all the while trying to detract and distract from the fact Russia is 100% in the wrong here as they’re terrorizing a neighboring country they swore to protect. Lowest of the low.
The real question is - why doesn’t anyone makes a difference between Russian and Russian-speaking people. There are a a lot of people from Ukraine, Kazahstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia on Пламегор EU. If Blizzard someday blocks Russian IP’s and VPNs, there will be still a lot of people on Пламегор EU.
Because that’s too complex and the western media didn’t explain them how to do that.
So they see Cyrillic = Russian
They see someone not hating Putin = Russian
It’s much easier this way.
Yep, pretty much. The difference here is Germany completely reformed itself, made amends, apologized thousand times over and became a trusty partner and ally. I can’t see Russia doing the same in this century.
And again, yep. It’s really the simplest and cleanest solution of them all all. For some reason even Oceania became separated from NA BGs and they have fewer players than RU does.
That’s losing money. Companies don’t care about people’s feelings. They care about their own profit.
Again, servers. Horrible latency.
What does that mean?
For example: Germany will lock you up if you refuse to pay a fee for the government media.
USA will lock you up as they please, regardless of your citizenship and location. I am sure you heard of Guantanamo.
I can also share some stuff from Ukraine. Is Ukraine considered democratic? (before the invasion)
Am perfectly fine segregating them along with the russians, basicly seperate the cyrillic servers/clients/users from the western ones.
If they then move onto western servers on western clients, that’s fine, then they’re atleast integrating and becoming prone to the same grand pool of players, having to use the same alphabet and dealing with the same randomness in groups.
It’s the same reason why chinese servers don’t mix up with EU ones, they have their own version of wow with their own language, much like the cyrillic one.
They don’t mix them up because of latency and the infrastructure, not because of their language or alphabet… (otherwise Americans would be thrown together with Brits, which would be painful for both)
I mean you know China is “a bit” further away from EU, right?
Every government has some form of repression, propaganda and censorship. It’s just ALOT stronger in totalitarian states (like china and russia), western (more democratic) countries are generally alot more liberal and give more personal freedom. It’s not complete, obviously… or things would just devolve into complete anarchy.
You do seem to really like using Guantanamo as a beating pin, wich makes me suspect you’re probably more of a middle eastern descent… regardless, Guantanamo wasn’t a nice situation, but compared to what Russians and many other countries are doing/have done in the past and present… well, it’s a bit narrowminded to use that as a blank slate excuse for everything else.
As said before, there’s dozens upon dozens of situations from even more countries that are atleast equally despicable, and in that regard, most countries arround the world are just as bad as one another, pointing out Guantanamo and handwaving the atrocities of other countries (including russia) is just ironic and laughable.
Russia is not ‘better’ or a ‘good’ guy, just because the US did something bad.
Nor is the US the ‘bad’ guy or ‘worse’, because they had the Guantanamo affair.
Western countries just have more affinity with other western(minded) countries, like the EU and the US have alot more affinity for each other than we do for the eastern (Russia/china) countries.
Don’t have to be so patronizing, it doesn’t make you look smarter at all.
That said, China is probably alot closer to the majority of Russia than the grand part of the central EU countries, in that sense, it seems more sensible to throw them into those servers.
We have insane ping to China because of bad network structure there, and most populated russian cities are on eu side.
Also, why do you think it’s only Russia playing on ru realms? What about ukrainian players, they should play with china too?
Well that’s how it was in original wrath.
Not enough players for that now. It’s not 2008, wow is not that popular any more. And because of sanctions there are not that many players from Russia itself.
I wonder how many Ukrainian players are actually playing WoW. When half the population of the country is displaced. And many people especially in cities being bombarded don’t have adequate resources like power, not to mention internet connection. I guess those in cities like Lviv are mostly “fine”, as one can be when their country is being invaded by an eastern horde, but then I wonder how they’re feeling playing on an RU server and whether or not they have an option to play on EU one or RU is their only option.
