You are right, probably there will not be more keys timed. Adding an extra mechanic will definitely have a negative impact on the success rate. After this discussion i don’t believe Challenger’s Peril should be replaced, it should be removed. It’s an exaggerated punishment, on top of the time you spend releasing and running/reviving the group. Moreover, it encourages bad behavior. There is no fun in being punished to that extent.
I am excited about the crest changes. I think they are great and am really curious if they will make M+ more accessible to more players and less time-consuming than before.
It is great to see the development team taking a step in the right direction.
I hope removing Challenger’s Peril and overhauling the Vault will be the next steps.
