Am i the only one that thinks they should scrap the part of splitting elite transmog
betweend 1k and 1.8 and just put the full mog at 1.8 and replace the others with pets and toys or whatever?
They should have moved the weapons to 1950 instead of the cloak and leave the illusion at 2100. There’s no real reason why the weapons and the elite set have a rating difference of 600. at Elite we already have the tabard and the item that unlocks Elite/Mythic visual effects on the casual variants. They should also have implemented Duelist 2 (2250) and moved the cloak to it.
1800: Elite Set
1950: Elite Weapons
2100: Illusion
2250: Cloak
2400: Tabard
That way, people that usually quit after reaching 1800 for the elite set are incentivised to push 150 rating to get the matching weapons. Then they might try to push an additional 150 to get the illusion. We would have some meaningful rewards every 150 rating thresholds and people trying to get them.
I think tabards are a very nice reward and you still have the Elite/Mythic set visuals at Elite rank.
3 rewards at elite while duelist only has a cloak makes no sense to me.
I would also love the cloak to be replaced with something else because literally no1 is using cloaks. Maybe a sick back object like those we got since shadowlands (knives, tombstones, w/e) like these:
Maybe some kind of torch/lamp/caldron that carries the current season illusion as an effect for the back
the cloak shouldnt be that high its not a desired reward at all.
wether the elite set should be 1.8 is questionable itself. but its been so for now 2 xpacs and its fine i guess, let the more casual players have it.
i agree it would make sense to have the set and the matching weapons closer to each other but the weapons should atleast be kept at 2.1.
