I do think they should. The only thing that is worth keeping prestige is the achievment and titles, imo.

I got cutting edge titles from mythic raiding, and transmog from that. I don’t feel devaluated that people can go into the same raid I progressed a whole season to do, 2 expansions later, one shot the bosses, to get the same mount and transmog as I did. Since I already have the title/achievment.

make elite sets and mounts comeback, but at a challenge, f.example. win x amount of games at 2400 rating (same as you needed before to get those mogs/mounts) and you get a token to purchase either from each old set.

So go ask blizzard for the cutting edge achiev and title next time you want to transmog farm. I wouldn’t mind personally if you got what I have.

All right, yeah, that’d be similar to how the Vicious Saddle system works. Provided the challenge is still the same in obtaining them, that’d be the only instance where it’s acceptable for them to be earnable.

Keeping human psychology in mind, the saying of “if everyone is special, no one is special” does ring true. In Classic, not looking like a hobo in mismatched gear was a reward in itself. Without FOMO, I think a lot of people would find there is nothing to strive for in an MMO.

It’s not exactly some any more. Not to mention that a lot of the earlier elite sets are just one of the 2 faction colors. Like the cataclysm paladin one. If you are alliance you still got your blue one, but horde? Screw you.

And that pretty much goes for all the fomo, just a taunt that you will never ever be able to wear something because of arbitrary reasons. That your collection will always be incomplete.

i been playing since beginning, back in legion i missed out as due to long work hours was playing dk for that expansion… yes i lost fun in a game and when i see druid forms which i always wanted back in the game i subbed as i had a feeling to come back to game and play a druid for the new expansion but blizz took that away. why not add some recolour versions to the shop like they did with 5 mil dino mount? i bought it for 5 million and was not crying when they added to the shop like most of the druids with these skins are crying

even tho you can keep thing evergreen, such as challenges, transmog and such. Everyone wouldn’t be special, due to not everyone can do all sorts of challenges. Either it’s skill, interest or just health issues (mobility)

Maybe, but I do also think people would keep the interest going, and maybe change perspective of the game if there were more rewards available to farm/get. I mean, maybe I would try out PvP if the WoD warrior set were still available (the red one, with moving shoulders) - as an example. Might peak interest in another game mode than what I usually strive for.

Not deciding anything, just pointing out a free speech opinion of what can be done to this issue.

Also said I wouldn’t mind if you got what I have, so not really. Got any better solutions? Feel free to share. Or are you just here to ragebait?

All or nothing is my solution. Not selective on what should come back or not.
You can have your opinion that some things are apparently worth having as “prestige” but some things are not. I just feel thats idiotic.

Has nothing to do with “ragebait” otherwise I would write other things. But you can pretend it is if thats what you want to believe.

Good, and I do agree. They have released some, so just waiting on the rest now.

Feel however you want. Again, was just a suggestion what could be done to keep both sides happy.

Preciously! I’d be happy if we got at least recolors that looked more like the OG ones because as you say, the fel one is — dare I say — quite random. And on top of that, they didn’t even give us different colours, just one single which feels rather lame in terms of mage tower.

The irony is, by hotfixing the accidential unlock they even managed to do it improperly and some players lost their legion unlocks altogether…

So what if we could customize the forms we already have? Like the boomkin form have the options to change color, glows, horns, beak w/e.

What if we can do that to our Cat and Bear form, even flying/aquatic?
Let’s take the new fel werebear
Add scars? Change tattoos? Color scheme of body and tattoo? change snout, eye color, add some dreadlocks, hair, maine, split color.

Even with the cat forms, same thing, add different kind of trails, specially on the fire cat, just like Magetower cat, instead of sparkle, what about flames, smoke? leaving fire paws when you run?

And the classhall mount for druid, there is so many cool colors of it for every race, but no color option (except the new green one, personally not a favorite) But I do like the Worgen color as it’s white, but is not usable as I main horde myself.

Maybe, just maybe, this could be a good outcome, make us customizable in our forms?
I mean, since we spend 99% in forms, and we have so little customization on the class/shapes, compared to other classes that have tons of options of transmog and weapons

Also bring back the 2 legged catform from WoD, like dude… Why even remove it in the first place.

U know what? I’d love that idea to be honest.

Never thought about it that way but we do spend must of our time in forms so giving them a sense of life and care in the form of wider customisation option for each spec and form would be lovely.

Unfortunately I don’t think blizz will ever consider such a thing and keep handing druids some half hearted nonsense that isn’t even half of what MT forms were.

as far as i’ve seen, Haranir druid forms are getting that treatment, so it’s not a far off idea that could work. Hell, their acquatic forms got customs too

Yeah… would love to cuztomise the fel werebear, imagine it being white with blue tattoos instead - would look amazing, and fit with many of the DF mogs fantasy… One can only hope.

Edit: Make the color patterns through challenge/questing whatever, maybe use the old zones to go pick up some treasures, or finish a questline, i don’t know. But the world is dead outside of dornogal mostly, or main cities. Not like anybody goes back to shadowlands ? Like night fae, could be good idea to get that blue tattoo color, revendreth the red one, the maw a black one, just ideas…

Good for them, imo, the druid forms looks dogpoop , only one that looks bit decent in my eyes is the treant.
