Why can’t you have a golden version?

There are so many other non accessible items that either never got added back, or that was added as recolours. Why can’t you accept a recolours? Especially since you suggest the original owners should get a recolour. Do you not see how stupid that sounds? Why aren’t you asking for a recolour for a new accessible version of these forms, rather than changing the colour of the original ones?

Mine was a proposal if blizzard feels explicitly lazy and doesn’t want to make proper recolors. I’m all for them making them as long as it makes sense with the classes. Give druids something that is natural looking for the forms, some new recolor of the other weapons and that’s enough to make people extremely happy.

guys i believe if this topic gets enough Visits and activities blizzard will do something about it. i as an alone druid have no power here but im sure it will do something if we ask them a replace way for them instead of removing it from the game.

werebear 3d structure and the shape was not like the normal or fantasy forms of bear that were coming out before legion. you see the reason that people are so interested in base forms of werebear was because of their new form and animation and the way that the color of their claws and skin is matched with the color of their spells . they just need to give us other ways and challenges from easy to hard to get the base forms of those werebears or the other ones that were removed from the game.

Alright, I know this will ruffle some feathers but the Mage Tower Druid forms? What’s the point of gatekeeping the only cool Druid forms anymore?

Now, before anyone starts foaming at the mouth, let’s clear something up: this isn’t about wanting freebies. It’s not about “handouts,” “entitlement,” or any of those buzzwords that get tossed around whenever someone questions decade-old decisions. It’s about logic — and, dare I say, a little common sense.

Every single time this comes up, we get the same scripted response: “It’s prestigious!” “You had to be there!” Right. Because nothing says “prestige” like an achievement so old it could almost vote. You’re not guarding legacy — you’re just guarding nostalgia. At this point, it’s less about prestige and more about hoarding digital pixels like ancient relics in a museum nobody’s allowed to enter.

Let’s be honest: it wouldn’t hurt anyone to make them re-earnable in the retail mage tower, and here’s the thing; nobody’s asking to cheapen your achievement. You did it first, and that’ll never change. You’ll always have the original timestamp, the bragging rights, and the memory of bashing your head against Kruul at 3AM while your UI screamed in pain. We respect that grind. But locking away the form itself — the actual look — forever? That’s not preserving prestige. That’s just… stingy.

This isn’t about prestige anymore; it’s about pride. The forms aren’t symbols of effort, they’re just Blizzard’s version of a “Do Not Touch” sign. And the funniest part? Nobody would lose a thing if they came back. The players who earned them would still have done it first — they’d still be the OGs. They just wouldn’t be the only ones allowed to look good anymore.

And at this point, the only thing more ancient than those Mage Tower forms is Blizzard’s refusal to dust them off.

I mean if you really want 1 of those skins you have mage tower in retail.

Yes its dumb decision on Blizzard but at the end of day - who really cares.

At first when it was made clear there was no mage tower, I was ok with it. But now they “accidentally” added the skins to the game, to now remove them, it just made this situation far worse imo. They need to do something, whether its add MT to remix afterall, or recolours. Something!

I’m more concerned that almost all current expansions don’t have anything like “hard solo content” with FoMo rewards so people can earn all these “prestigious” things.

Give people FoMo grinding, and they won’t even look at past expansions!
Legion Remix is ​​also FoMo in its own way, but why not include the challenging Mage Tower without the infinite power effects and stuff the rewards with completely new or simply recolored skins from the previous Mage Tower?

See, that’s the thing; I care a lot actually.

Druids spend most of the time in kitty and bear form, so it would only be fair to add a larger portion of variation for us like they do with transmog; not lock away half of it behind a dusty claim of “prestige”.

Yeah but see, druids actually fight in their forms. Our entire combat system revolves around being shapeshifted — we’re not swapping to bear form just to look fluffy, it’s literally our weapon. Shamans don’t fight as wolves; they pop Ghost Wolf to travel 10% faster between pulls. Not really the same struggle

Look, I get what Druids do shapeshifting, nature stuff, all that. But let’s be real… almost two decades with the same wolf form? And then Blizzard throws in a raptor and a fox like it’s groundbreaking? Come on.

Druids get wild new forms every expansion. You’re not lacking in customization, so let’s not pretend you’ve been neglected.

For example, I got my Mage Tower appearance as a Resto Shaman back in Legion. If they brought it back now for others, I honestly wouldn’t care. I had my moment, but I don’t think keeping it locked away forever is fair.

A lot of these “prestigious” rewards are gated behind content from year* ago. Some players were literally 5 years old back then. At some point, it stops being about prestige and just becomes needless exclusion.
