I wasn’t under the opinion of “just reroll alliance”, but after seing that “most people wouldn’t change factions, even blizzard implement a free faction change”, I think people should ripe what they made. If a horde player that doesn’t want to change to alliance and get instant ques, yeah… he deserves 50m for the metaslave that he is.
Hydra was literally telling his stream how this change was good and how the horde didn’t have better racials, while leveling an UD priest. LOL, just LOL!

Hydra plays TBC for arena and always has. Him leveling an undead opens more opportunities for him to play with people instead of being restricted to one side. You should listen to Hydra and not chimps on these forums when it comes to PvP/racials.
Even blizzard admitted with this change that Alliance just doesn’t participate in PvP just like Horde does. Why do u think they gave you enlistment box?
Changes which limits the possibility to play with friends is not in the spirit of classic WoW. All these changes mentioned here by Blizzard should not be implemented in my view.
Instead I would suggest adding retail’s Mercenary Mode which allows players to enter battlegrounds as a member of the opposite faction. Players are transformed into an appropriate race and fully function as an indistinguishable member of their new team.
Additionally bonus honor could be given to the faction which is currently lacking players, both for Mercenary Mode and normal.
To me this would solve most of the identified issues with TBC PvP.
guess i will enjoy losing as alliance against 99% of pug horde and now not even able to play with my ppl i have in my arena team aswell

Thank you Blizzard! Same faction BG’s is the best pvp experience im having since beggining of classic.
These changes are awesome. 
Why can’t you play with your arena team in BGs? Are you playing 10v10 arena? You should be able to queue with a total of 5 players.

Unbalanced racials between the factions
So how do we solve this problem?
Well, first off all, we already open pandoras box with changing the #nochanges to #somechanges, so that discussion is over, we are on this road now lets not crap all over it.
Issue is that you have to many horde players on each realm, specially more hordes queuing up to bgs then allys. Wild guess to this, is because the majority of pvp players are choosing horde because its simply alot better.
How do you fix it?
Add a “Choose your racial combo”
Example; “I NOW IDENTIFY AS AN ORC” and poof, no1 can ever land a stun on you ever again!
If not for all around, atleast make it for the bg’s and most important, arena.
You just fixed your own game.
And putting a limit on the ability to make a premade is, well, your litterally going away from the core point of the game, which is to play with your friends.
Sure its not fair for the solo playing people but it shouldnt be either, if you played this game enough and are good and smart enough to be in a premade you SHOULD have the advantage. People who work to set up those premades should be rewarded?

Because bg isnt arena?
I still don’t get why he can’t queue with his arena team for BGs. Just form a group with them (you can use /invite playername to invite your arena team members) and then talk to a battlemaster for a BG, click on “Join as a group” and you are done.
I completely agree, I would prefer both Arenas and BGs without racials.
That being said, do you think that would solve the problem of long queues? Do you think people would reroll alliance because of that? No.
Solutions that require rerolls won’t work because most people don’t want to.
Or let me put it this way: If now, with this change, everything is better on horde side, will you reroll horde? It would apparently solve all your problems. So, will you?
World PvP being unbalanced seems a bad argument to me, to be honest. “Fair”, “equal” and “balanced” simply don’t apply to world pvp. If you chose a pvp server because you like unfair pvp, someone getting ganked while they fight multiple mobs then honestly in my opinion it doesn’t matter which side has more players. World PvP situations are mostly 1v1 or small group vs small group and the group size is not dependent on the population, if you quest with 3 buddies your group size is 4, it doesn’t matter if 80% of the people in shattrath are of your faction or of the other faction. The only place where I could see it matter is summoning stones with a lot of people of the more popular faction waiting for more group members there.
But if that is your issue then please state it that way “Horde shouldn’t get instant queues because alliance can’t use the summoning stone in Auchindoun and Coilfang Reservoir”.
Incredible change. GOOD job once again Blizzard!
Firstly, No more premades is the best change you’ve ever made to classic. Even if the wargames dont remain, the removal of premades SHOULD remain. The quality of BGs has gone up by a factor of a hundred.
Secondly, the incentive box for alliance is a good change as well. This incentivises their massive amount of PvE playerbase to at least try out PvP.
Lastly, I just want to say, today was my best BGing experience since classic and tbc classic came out.

you know that you can have up to 10 ppl in a 5s team. Not all playing all the time its easier to find days to que.
Remove same faction BG it just brings more afkers. Pretty bad idea.
