Savage Gladiator Chain

Yo can some warriors here share their bad luck stories with the savage gladiator chain?
I’m trying to cheer myself up a bit after still not getting mine at 150 runs.
Thanks in advance. Probably quitting if it takes over 200 runs.

My story is that I went there 2 times, said “nope, this ain’t worth it”. Went over to scholo, got tombstone breastplate instead.

My guildmate got it at something like 350 runs. And I’ve heard of a guy with 700+.

Or go to vault in brd and take you mail chest with 2 crit

271 runs. Pretty bad rng.

I have probably done about 130-150 runs. The other day i was just helping a friend who is low level run the dungeon with other random ppl. And in the runs iv done i have never even seen the boss that drops it. But this run he appeared and dropped the chest. End if story i lost it to a 53 hunter :S

That’s so sad considering hunters get an equally good chest from DM trib… which they can even solo.

I wouldn’t say it’s equally as good but it’s decent until you get Savage. Took 80 runs to get mine.

Did some runs with a warrior and asked him about his luck.
He told me he has done over 500runs and still havent got it

I broke 300 runs, still no sight of it.

How can you do 700 runs? I mean you can reset the instance 5 times every hour, so one day, realistically, you can do 20 runs in 4 hour with resetting every time, doing nothing else. That’s 35 calendar days nonstop doing this for a piece of gear… really?

Guild tank got it after 889 runs. GLHF.

4 hours a day? What sort of a casual farms SGC like this?

Obvs hunter item tbh

It’s bis till AQ40 in a year. It’s worth it.

Yeayea… my point is that everyone is lying and exaggerating bigtime. They done 20-30 runs tops and whining hardcore.

That’s probably true : ) “But I know a guy who did 9000 runs without a drop”

A guildmate went in having no clue about that drop and got it. He was surprisingly happy to then learn about the story.

Update: got it yesterday after 167 total runs
Did 17 runs yday and dropped from the first gorosh.
Super stoked!

It may be worth trying, but precisely because you have a lot of time ahead and Cadaverous Armor is easier to get and still very good, you don’t have to necessarily do hundreds of runs over a few days now until your eyes bleed.

It’s all subjective of course but I don’t think the chance of being miserable for days or more likely weeks is worth the investment, especially because once you’ve done an insane amount of tries you feel like you’ve 100% lost that time unless you finally get it, whereas someone doing arenas when feeling like it still finds some amusement (“what if”), kinda like the difference between buying a lottery ticket every week and being a compulsive gambler going for a third mortgage.
