I don’t think the current WoW team at Blizzard even know what RP is seeing as ALL the RP servers where originally marked for closure.
They keep telling us ‘We’ve listened to the community’ but I wonder which community they’ve been listening to, the local dog walking community ? The stamp collecting community ?
Whichever one it is it’s painfully obvious it’s not the WoW players community.
RP PvP is unique ay, the tag attract folks that dive deeper into the Warcraft gamedesign. Hydraxian is way too safe open world, no pvp tag, dead boring.
ZT had drama, bromance, legends, hilarious events/raids. Other realms (PvP, PvE) are too bland, harder to find people with same mindset. If free transfers to ZT opens during WOTLK, Ill be jumping right back there.

We’re still here, blizzard. Just because you forced everyone else off the server with the transfers doesn’t mean people don’t want to be here. The people who left often say they miss the community and that they never would’ve left if they didn’t have to. At least do the courtesy of not killing the last remnant of whats left
Zandalar Tribe is unique sever with even more unique community. Everything on server is community driven… From raiding to working economy without AH. People who are playing on ZT and other so called dead servers are playing there for a reason. You will never experience this kind of World of Warcraft anywhere… One could imagine that Blizzard would care more about their players 
I totally agree with idea of closing free transfers out from ZT and opening free transfers to ZT from all other servers.

Yes, Blizzard. Please close free transfers from Zandalar Tribe and open free transfers to Zandalar Tribe for both factions.
I’ll be honest, what made me not cancel my subscription and actually get submersed into the game again, with the proper community feel, was discovering this server, even though low populated, had been taken over by a small, dedicated, beyond helpful community. The proper WoW spirit!! Really don’t want to lose that. We feel here that what will help the server, would be to open free transfers to it. Furthermore, we feel with the release of WOTLK, the server is to sure get a rebirth of players.
We’d appreciate if you could consider these points, blizzard!

But I think unfortunately you’re way too late to do any difference.
I’ve been trying to make Blizz not close down any of the RP servers since the annuncement (7 June), and the crew from Celebras has also been out in numbers. This thread is the first I heard from ZT - I might have missed something s I’m not superhuman.
I even made a US Character and suffered through ten levels of inane Retail-island levelling to give Blizz a piece of my mind.
The Celebras thread told us some days ago that the decision to close down ZT and Celebras and only save HW was the final word. I do not agree to this, and will keep on fighting, but I’m losing hope and inertia.
Not sure I agree. I’ve been here essentially since the beginning talking about RPPVP in existing threads arguing my point.
I didn’t create a thread since I felt there were enough threads on the subject. Maybe that was a mistake.
Regardless, until August 10th I’ll keep pushing for RPPVP. That’s the only server type I enjoy playing on.
Yes I see you there - I just looked through your “history”. And I admitted that I might have overlooked something - seems I did, sorry.
I’ll keep on yelling as well. Hopefully we can make them change their mind, and for chrissake open that free transfer FROM all servers back to the 3 RP servers before the pre-patch 
I really hope that Blizzard will hear us out. I also hope to open transfers from other servers
TO ZT (as many have said so far). There is a respectfull amount of people that they keep ZT alive. There are co-op raids, exchange of services (since there is no AH) and we are like a big family where we take care of each other.
We joined this server because it was an RPVP server and If we wanted to migrate, we would have aldready done it.
We want to stay, we want to continue gaming to our server. We want you to really take into consideration to maintain Zandalar Tribe and open transfers from other servers to ZT.

I just linked this thread on the US forum - I don’t know if it helps, but worht a try.
On the big migration wave, I have followed my guild to a big server. And that’s when I lost interest to the game.
From time to time I was logging to ZT with a lvl1 char hoping to see some activity there. And one day i saw many people logged and even a guild invite on the channels. Without second thought I joined the guild and started leveling. And i found again the lost joy of the game.
I leveled smoothly, with the help of the community whenever I needed. The obstacles when playing in a low populated server, like not being able to find the bis crafts, or an active AH, were so well-fitting the post-apocalyptic atmosphere of the game and that made me dive even deeper to Azeroth’s mood.
When I was joining bgs as a mage 70lvl, I couldn’t make a table, cause I couldn’t find a book required. People were laughing at me me when I was telling them that I don’t have the spell yet, but I was feeling proud, like “hey, I may am from a poor world but yet, here I am, a member of a strong and committed survivors community”.
And one day, an old Zandalarian that returned to the server, had for me the missing book. Cause people waiting for Wrath had started to returning back. Every day, for days, people was jumping back, glad and impressed that they were seeing activity, from guild invites to small raid invites and an active friendly chat without boost spammers.
It was so obvious that ZT was resurrecting from his ashes, for a single reason. This server had the best community, balance and fun, from both RP and PVP aspects. And a I was ready to transfer my abandonned to other servers chars, even with a payed transfer.
And that was the time when Blizzard announced the upcoming cruel death of the server. It feels like a dishonorable kill on a wounded proud being… like if Tirion had finished Eltrigg.
Don’t kill Zandalar Tribe, Blizzard. Allow us to be. Please keep the server on and give free transfers.

Nothing was happening at the beginning of the year. Just a few remaining players here and there. We made an effort and we did indeed resurrect Zandalar Tribe and ever since it has been on a steady rise until recently.
Blizzard’s announcement is indeed discouraging after all the success we’ve been able to accomplish.
Blizzard please stop free transfers from Zandalar Tribe, and open free transfers to Zandalar Tribe.
Blizzard should leave ZT alone, as it a unique RP-PVP server. Just the fact this thread is running shows that it should be kept, There is a community willing to keep trying so Blizzard should respect the community. I am aware it’s an MMORPG and keeping everyone happy is not possible but Classic WoW was released with the old server system and players chose their servers according to their playstyle. And now it’s being consolidated into a few big servers? Playing on large servers is not fun for some, and often attracts bots/or boosters…not to mention queue times. Players on large servers usually don’t care anymore about the social or role-playing part of the game…it’s about raiding/gear and not much else.
Blizz should let all 3 RP servers live.
One RP-PvP, one RP-PvE and one German RP server is not one too many!
I cannot get how they say that they won’t implement this or that because of the RP community and then closing down all 3 EU RP servers!

The Horde Discord is Content rich from the ‘War Effort’.
Unfortunately the Alliance Discord was full of drama and got nuked a few times, then rebranded to another server.

If ppl love RPPvP, why did ZT die?
Same reason HW almost died. Last minue panic as Blizz opened free transfer off RP servers. Only Celebras stayed strong. And how much does this help them now?

A RP/PVP server like Zandalar Tribe would be the only reason to play Wrath of the Lich King for me!
Normal PvP servers are absolute ghettos. Half the players there cant even form full sentences! Next time i see someone reply with “+” to a question im finally losing it!
Lets be real and accept the fact that Wrath of the Lich King is, just like Burning Crusade, a terrible game and will die out after mere months. Having an entertaining server like Zandalar Tribe would atleast delay that inevitable outcome.
Let me remind you that Wrath of the Lich King had flying, death knights, vehicle bgs, dungeon finder, phasing, race/faction changes, heirlooms, orgrimmar arena, store mounts and quest objectives on the map. TERRIBLE! Thankfully some of these things are being removed but as long as there is flying, theres no open world so let me add to the thread:
REMOVE FLYING TOO!
And remember not to group with Phase Hunter owners.

Were ZT so alive and thriving before free transfers? Not really, Horde pop was very low for the last months, and Alliance kept decreasing too.
RPPvP servers are a nice concept, and US shows us that they can work. But it didn’t work in Europe (bad luck or whatnot), and I don’t think there’s a way to resurrect it.
I think the only way to save RPPvP is via F R E S H RPPvP.
