Can we please for Era-Servers get the Scourge Invasion as an annual event? The Eraservers should be a museum project and while maybe it would be hard to regulary close and reopen An’quirai could we at least get like a holiday event in Retail a returning scourge event? So that even the late commers can so experience this without needing to hope for another SoM haste.

I always thought it could be cool to have an annual version of the Ahn’Qiraj event every year exactly on the anniversary the gates were opened in the realm.
The idea I had back when Classic was released is:
- A month before the anniversary have an event like the War Effort to gather resources. The lore explanation could be that the NPC is gathering resources for the commemoration. So, a Commemoration Effort instead of a War Effort.
- One week before the anniversary stop Commemoration Effort as if the objective was completed, no matter how many resources were gathered by the players.
- Exactly on the day of the anniversary repeat the opening of the gates with the gong event but have an NPC hitting the gong. I would love it if the NPC has the same aspect as the player who originally did it on the realm but probably they don’t store that data. The point of having it on a fixing date by an NPC is to avoid players to exploit so everyone earns the mount, which should remain exclusive of the original event.

Pass the invasion event is a huge greifing event, I cannot wait until the current one is over with, Blizz should have phased it or made it opt in… the forced greifing is annoying everyone.

It’s not. I’m 80% sure that it’s a global skill on server: 0 is closed, 1 is open. The thing is controlling the population of black qirajes since you can freely transfer your Era character on live servers shortly before the Era server closes forever. Black qirajes must be pretty rare and exclusive mounts, you need to do smth to achieve em and the title (even if it’s just an appearing in a correct place in a correct time). If all Era servers will have the qiraji gates closed at start, everyone could get this mount, sooner or later.
