Since patch hit today i have been having random screen flickering when being either in combat and using spells or when dismounting or when looting stuff. i asked around and seems like alot of people have similar problem since patch.
i have the same issue on my amd AND on my laptop’s HD630, both are running on DX12

I’m sorry to hear that you’re getting these graphics glitches since the patch. As updates are applied to the game issues like this can occur if your Operating System and Drivers are out of date and due an update of their own, so can I ask that you Update your Drivers and operating System first.
Following this, several interface modifications or old addons can issues in World of Warcraft, and resetting your Interface may help solve your issue. Please follow this guide to Reset your Interface.

I’m assuming it’s NVidia issue again.
Happened to me today in Stormsong while chasing after bees. Flicker would appear from time to time while flying or being in combat etc…totally random and it goes away REALLY fast. Instill, it’s beyond annoying.
Either Nvidia or Addons that still need to get updated to the current version of the game.
Hopefully the problem gets resolved soon 
Been happening to me for weeks on my nvidia 950m. I had to roll back my driver to an earlier one to stop it. Alternatively you can turn vsync on or change to directx11
Find a way to trigger this issue. Turn off your UI with Alt+Z. Does the issue go away?
For me this happens when Metamorphosis ends, when it does that final animation. The weird part is, it only happens in Stormsong Valley, I kept using metamorphosis in Boralus and in Tiragarde sound to see if the issue persists but the screen doesn’t flicker there, only in Stormsong …

Looks like it’s NVIDIA, because I’ve tried everything including resetting UI , repairing, reinstallnig… There has been a driver update lately. Hopefully we can see a fix on NVIDIA’s end soon. I don’t think Blizzard can do anything about this 
I have AMD card and I also get the flickers, however they only happen in Stormsong Valley for some reason.
This has nothing to do with nvidia. it is on blizzard side as people found out on us forums. game keeps trying to reset gama to default 1if you have anything beside that

Same here. I’m using Nvidia and so far these flickers are only happening in Stormsong Valley!

Having same issue.
However its only happening to me when I kill a mob outisde world, or interract any npc or object.
In instanced places, like dungeons and bg-s, its perfectly fine.
I have AMD, up to date drivers, tested with addons on and off, and nothing changed.
Stick vsync on or switch to direct x 11
Tried it, but nothing changed.
Does it still occur if you turn off your ui with Alt+Z before killing stuff?
The screen does indeed ‘blink’ when people join your raid group in Nazjatar. Maybe it’s drawing some element fullscreen for a frame? It’s very odd.
I’m having the same issues with 1080ti
As I noticed it was happening, I updated my driver but the problem persists.
I have also noticed it happens way more often in a group or raid (even without anyone joining) and it keeps happening even with default gamma and brightness, both directX 11 and 12 and also with vsync on and off.
Addons don’t seem to be related to this issue.
I get this when changing gear on my druid, but only when I’m not in a shape shifted form. Disabled everything, still happens, updated drivers etc. It’s very strange and definitely never happened pre-patch.
