Season 1 ending soon?

source?

also the boost is something completly diffrent than the raidsphase.

THey also told in a q&a that they might pass arena seasons and phases together and p2 comes with season 2. Thats the same argument.

if you are bad at pvp you wont get higher rated. but since most players are lower than 1600 pve geard heroes will make theirs lifes bad cause they have gear from easy pve content and the pvp players dont have it but face it on 1400.

Read the pinned hotfix thread…

Its not even that itll impact only low ratings, it would literally impact every rating. Double dps would just be to good to be ignored anymore. It would mean even more % of the glads given would go to double dps just because the significantly better pve gear benefits them the most.

i find it fun tbh to mix pve gear with pvp gear

So what you are saying is that it would mean people would have to spend less time farming resilience gear, which is something alot of pvp players have made clear that they don’t enjoy?

Sounds to me like it would make the arena ladder better reflect skill by reducing the time requirement for gear farming.

but then you force pvpers to do pve and thats fine then but forcing pveers to do pvp that isnt fine?

double standarts

Yes. Because that was the original TBC experience.

How is wanting Blizzard to recreate the original experience as close as possible double standards?

Didn’t you hear about our almighty god STUNHERALD?

adn blizzard changed it to have a better pvp season expirience so its fine then when they changed it.

What? They haven’t announced any change in that regard yet afaik.

they told in a q&a that they gonna do changes in case to align the seasons to the phases.

Not really. What they do is they try to screw you as much as possible, then when people complain they dial it back a bit, going “hey we get it guys, we’re listening, have some changes” and screw you a little bit less, but get to look like they’re actually trying.

There is no confirmed date to end the season, but they are increasing AP gains, reducing gear prices. A lot of people are already fully Arena geared, or missing 1 piece. Not saying that is the majority because that is only the top percentile. But there is still ATLEAST a month left of season one to gear up, esp with the gear price nerfs inc. I would not worry too much. Season 1 is by far the most unbalanced, shiethow season in TBC aswell, don’t mind if they rush it.

dang, kinda right there.

true.

Phase 1 only 3 months? Why did Berny make mighty dragonmaw when new weps will become bis in 28 days.

RIP this expension. Might as well rush everything and get wotlk by new ear.

Don’t forget people SSC and tk were released with kara etc in original. There’s no reason they can’t release them in phase two and Continue season 1 pvp. That’s how it was originally and they are simply splitting the PVE Content up some what.

This is not true. Season 2 started before MH became available. People would wear their T2 shoulders into the S2 gear (looking exactly the same) to intimidate opponents as if they were a 2200 rated char.

Why does it matter to pvpers that people get T5 stuff? What’s so much better besides trinkets and weapons? If you are good at pvp (2.2k+) then this won’t matter at all. Skill still wins, sometimes rng but that is another story. I am pretty sure people who are 2700 right now can easily get to 2400 without any resilience…

Also the increasing of arenapoint gain / reducing costs for items looks to be more like that they want to end the season with P2 hitting. No one really knows what blizz wants though at this point. Either it’s an overlap or not, won’t matter as skilled players will still dominate no matter how much you “outgear” from pve.

I was on Conviction for all of TBC and it honestly wasn’t that common

Yes it is fun indeed, but fairly powerful for certain classes if the pve gear is better than the current pvp gear by far.
