also the boost is something completly diffrent than the raidsphase.
THey also told in a q&a that they might pass arena seasons and phases together and p2 comes with season 2. Thats the same argument.
if you are bad at pvp you wont get higher rated. but since most players are lower than 1600 pve geard heroes will make theirs lifes bad cause they have gear from easy pve content and the pvp players dont have it but face it on 1400.
Its not even that itll impact only low ratings, it would literally impact every rating. Double dps would just be to good to be ignored anymore. It would mean even more % of the glads given would go to double dps just because the significantly better pve gear benefits them the most.
So what you are saying is that it would mean people would have to spend less time farming resilience gear, which is something alot of pvp players have made clear that they donât enjoy?
Sounds to me like it would make the arena ladder better reflect skill by reducing the time requirement for gear farming.
Not really. What they do is they try to screw you as much as possible, then when people complain they dial it back a bit, going âhey we get it guys, weâre listening, have some changesâ and screw you a little bit less, but get to look like theyâre actually trying.
There is no confirmed date to end the season, but they are increasing AP gains, reducing gear prices. A lot of people are already fully Arena geared, or missing 1 piece. Not saying that is the majority because that is only the top percentile. But there is still ATLEAST a month left of season one to gear up, esp with the gear price nerfs inc. I would not worry too much. Season 1 is by far the most unbalanced, shiethow season in TBC aswell, donât mind if they rush it.
Donât forget people SSC and tk were released with kara etc in original. Thereâs no reason they canât release them in phase two and Continue season 1 pvp. Thatâs how it was originally and they are simply splitting the PVE Content up some what.
This is not true. Season 2 started before MH became available. People would wear their T2 shoulders into the S2 gear (looking exactly the same) to intimidate opponents as if they were a 2200 rated char.
Why does it matter to pvpers that people get T5 stuff? Whatâs so much better besides trinkets and weapons? If you are good at pvp (2.2k+) then this wonât matter at all. Skill still wins, sometimes rng but that is another story. I am pretty sure people who are 2700 right now can easily get to 2400 without any resilienceâŚ
Also the increasing of arenapoint gain / reducing costs for items looks to be more like that they want to end the season with P2 hitting. No one really knows what blizz wants though at this point. Either itâs an overlap or not, wonât matter as skilled players will still dominate no matter how much you âoutgearâ from pve.
