this depends - some Delve trinkets are played in mythic raid (like 2 candle trinkets), and some others are pretty good but yeah a bunch of them are bad indeed.
If you wanna see for yourself - check e.g. mage mythic logs in nerubar you will see like 5-10% mages play Candle confidant from delves on mythic bosses and some of them are in top 10 parses.
Well as a hunter main everything is F:D
Even some personals sims with dungeons/dummies they are very poor .
The 0.8% ~1.2% proc dmg is 2 low considering that the void reaperâs contract can proc up to 4.5% in some fights .( i wonât talk about the mad queens since biggest crit was 19 mill 
with trueshot )_
The delve trinkets for delve content are pretty poor optimized (at least for my dk~hunter and warr)
If they are accessible to the playerbase at least make them to be competitive in order class-specs to have more options rather than forcing everyone to play the same .
My bud who is a DK mythic raider still uses a delve trinket because itâs just too good according to logs. IDK how you are simming this. Some % of DKs in mythic raid play the shadowbound trinket or waning candle so yeah please stop this
For instance, my frost mage had 606 candle trinket and it simmed better than myth track trinkets and itâs actually good so please donât spread misinformation
if you check top mythic logs for hunter specs you will see a few percent of them using 3 of the delve trinkets so yeahâŚ

Candlestick is A-tier for BM
MM has 2 delve trinkets on C-tier which is perfectly fine for intermediate upgrades. (pardon, Shadow-binding knife is A-tier for M+ for MM too)

PS: The only âDelve trinket problemâ that actually exists is that âEleet Raydersâ think itâs below their dignity/ability to enter delves to get their BiS trinket so I know some people that consciously play a worse trinket because they donât wanna go âandy contentâ
