Season 2 ksm requires both tyrannical and fortified 15s in 9.1

Exactly this. It is 100% predictable when you stack.

I never said anything about removing bosses. I said M+ is not primarily about the bosses. Yes, they are a big part of it and need to be challening in their own way, but most of the time in a M+ dungeon is spent fighting trash and often even individual trash mobs have more mechanics than a boss does. Tyrannical in it’s current state is not the way to make M+ more fun or challening. End of story.

That’s something I can agree with you on.

I get what you mean but also I really don’t think it’s a problem. People who do 15s on tyrannical will do 15s on fortified anyway. It might take longer to get KSM, true, but I don’t think there’s many who just do the dungeons to get KSM and then stop.

I know there are just enough people who buy KSM boosts and for them this is a problem, because the boost just became more than twice as expensive. But for the rest of the population I don’t think this is going to be a problem, because we’ll run tyrannical and fortified 15s anyway.

yeah, im lucky to have found a guild to raid with, if i didnt have one i hadnt raided this season at all either.

thanks thats a nice thing to say, i hope you ll have lots of fun in tbc as well.

The spear is facing a direction and afaik it’s based on the position of the spear. The direction of the spear is based on where it was thrown from. So yes, you can predict where everything is going. Sadly my ADHD brain can’t remember these things, just like how I can’t do the maze in mists without addons. Brain sucks, can’t help it. Wish Blizzard would at least make the directions more visible, but I’ve already contacted them about it through their accessibility email.

Because they don’t know how to play their classes or the dungeons.

This guy here, was easier to heal than tanks that have had far higher ilvl than him.

Why? Because he wasn’t totally clueless unlike those other tanks.

At first I was like “nah, this ain’t gonna work, his gear is so low” but then he knew how to actually press his buttons and when.

Ok I get what you mean now. But the point is still that most people prefer doing M+ on Fortified and this change is forcing them to also do them on Tyrannical. At least from my experience both in the game and reading the forums/other feedback, people who prefer Tyra over Forti are very much the minority.

You are right, we can do lower keys on Tyra and higher keys on Forti, but that doesn’t make it fun nor does it make it a good design decision. Ideally these to affixes should be removed and M+ should be re-scaled accordingly by level, not rotate “ok this week we spend a lot of time slapping bosses and next week we get to actually have fun.”

I prefer tyrannical over fortified because it doesn’t matter that much if the tank is bad at pressing his buttons during tyrannical whereas on fortified they can get clapped in less time than I have to react and cast a heal on them.

Well that’s not a problem of forti/tyra. Bad players not pressing their buttons has nothing to do with it. You can’t design content that’s supposed to be challening around players not bothering to play properly.

This is good only for token sales and boosting disease.

But it has an effect when you end up with those people. The key is easier on tyrannical than on fortified if you have someone like that in the party.

I doubt too much casual players are actually buying boosts.

That’s why people are so selective about who they invite/join/play with. Based on my other interactions with you, you seem to have a lot of issues with bads being in your group, so maybe you should be more selective as well.

If anything casual players are more likely to buy boosts because they want to achieve things without bothering about getting a group for them

When I used to boost, a lot of the boostees were just alts who wanted a quick weekly done. I don’t see many players actually paying for an entire KSM, especially since it’s going cost double now, and especially not casuals who aren’t exactly swimming in millions of gold to throw into this each season on top of other expenses.

Boost prices are pretty high. On a popular boosting discord, KSM costs 1.4M gold. That’s ~140 EUR. These changes will double the effort, which means the prices will double as well. I doubt most of the casual players are willing to spend ~300 EUR every 4-5 month for an achievement / mount.

Well that depends on your definition of casual, to me casual is someone who plays quite a bit but doesnt care about high end content, but I get what you mean

Most of the boosted players are alts of people who are boosting themselves on their mains. To get a kickstart on their alt.

That’s also a part of them yeah
