But I don’t see this issue specifically in relation to KSM because of the low amount of dungeons you have to complete to get it. We have an entire season (more than 6 months) to complete the keys, so the players who are meant to get the achievement will get it anyway.
My point is that I think you should make a thread about the overall issue of Tyrannical instead of complaining about it in this thread. And I agree with you. I hate Tyrannical. But in relation to KSM specifically it’s an absolute non-issue.
I hate healing many high rated tanks in m+. They think they can pull like they do with their premade and then you wipe because of it.
Worst I’ve had in that regard; pulled several packs in stitchflesh’s room and then we wiped because goresplatter’s going off and I got stunned, the only one interrupting being the tank.
He shouldn’t have pulled like that, he should have known people aren’t interrupting properly because it’s a pug. But he does a pull that requires people to shut down casts. In a pug. Then he leaves after we wipe due to his pull.
We could have done it +2 even without that stupid pull, even if he had pulled all the packs one by one in that room.

With this logic, adding any group content to the game benefits the boosters - new raids (especially with mounts/unique items), dungeons, PVP seasons and rewards, Torghast, etc. The only way not to enhance boosting is to stop releasing any group content, which Blizz actually is successfully doing right now)))
If some part of playerbase does not value the actual gameplay experience and wants only rewards, what can you do? I asked similar question on reddit and was surprised how aggresively people defended their right to buy as many boosts as they want because there is some reward in game that they want, but are not willing to put time/effort into getting it themselves.
It doesn’t matter how long the player has to do it if they don’t want to do it in the first place. In BfA I wanted Blood of the Enemy because it was extremely strong for classes I wanted to play, but it took me over a year to bite the bullet and finally push myself to spent the stupid amounts of time in BGs to grind the honor. The result of BotE being gated behind honor grind didn’t make me want to grind, it made me not play the classes that used BotE.
It’s encouraging players to do something they didn’t have to previously do and more than likely don’t want to do for not even the same reward, but a worse reward, since the mount is literally just a recolor of the current one, which I sitll can’t wrap my head around why they would do that.

anyone spending hundreds of hours raising their toxic io just to get into groups in first place then then wipe endlessly/have their groups disband on tyranical to get their +15 done that must be insane or plainly masochist.
still wont beat my most hillarius experience with bolster - in DoS chicken with size of godzilla because it got like 15 stacks or something ^^ and then someone panicking and runing into dragon waking it up ^^
I don’t mind so much it being a recolour, if it’s a colour that I like.
Unfortunately, I have not managed to find a good enough/high res/clear image of it to have a proper look at it yet.
I would like a green version of the mount (like the elementals in Maldraxxus), and I would be tempted to put the effort in for that. At the moment, all I can tell from the pictures we have is that the Gems are a different colour… and well, that’s definitely not worth it.
My main concern really is how long Season 2 is going to last. I put alot of time and effort into Season 1 KSM expecting the patch to be “normal length”, and here were are over 3 months after getting KSM and it’s still season 1. I could have spread my time alot thinner in the game and still comfortably gotten the achievement by now.
Hopefully Blizz can give us some kind of indication on Season 2 length, ie. will be be similar to Season 1 or more like previous seasons. Doesn’t need to be exact dates. But I do feel a little hard done by.
This may also be for timegating valor upgrades.
Week 1 KSM would’ve been very easy with key rerolls. You could get a max upgraded ring by second week.
Difficulty wise doesn’t change much, if you can time a 15 on fortified you can time it on tyrannical. Scaling only becomes an issue on the 19-20 range.
I imagine they are gonna do tuning on all bosses due to pride going away, good time to nerf Hakkar and Ingra that scale horribly.
Depends on the Anima Power seasonal affix. I just hope that this one isnt RNG like Torghast or Sanctum of Domination (at least on PTR) but set powers for a class/spec on a specific affix combination otherwise this is just going to end up being an absolute nightmare.
I think they have been pretty good on tuning dungeons so far. We actually got tuning during the season.
They even nerfed Tyrannical.
Overall aside from those two bosses I think most of them are fair.
We have no Tyrannical Eudora or Overseer Korgus that just kill your run.
As soon as they announced that on the leaderboard there would be a separation between tyran and fort for whatever leaderboard I kind of assumed we’d see something like this. Sucks to be right, not that I’m planning on coming back to playing SL any time soon.
But actually you still don’t have to do Tyrannical. Getting KSM requires a score of 2000 in the new system and you can get that just from Fortified keys. You just have to push a little higher than +15.
