Except that in those cases, you are hardstuck at some point. Conquest caps weekly and so does raiding gear. M+ gear will forever drop no matter how many runs you do a week. Sure, you can get to 2.4k rating in week one, but you’ll still have to wait a few weeks to get enough conquest to buy that sweet weapon.
I generally meant that if you don’t take the GV into account, you can, in theory, gear up completely in week 1 from doing non stop M+. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love that M+ gave better gear if you (for instance) got all dungeons done at lvl 20 or something like that, but to make that balanced they’d need to either put a complete stop to gear drops after a certain amount, or just make it work like the PvP vendor (pretty please).
To be honest though, you will normally end up doing some lower Tyra anyway as the season goes. Also, it may change expectations about score.
I think it’s perfectly fine to expect more than a 15 Forti score for a 15 Tyra key, after all the affix changes the dungeon play quite a bit. On Forti weeks people tend to just largely ignore mechanics outside of those you absolutely can’t and try to nuke boss asap. Tyra requires obeying mechanics in all instances and there’s far less opportunity to just blast the boss down. Therefore it’s fair to expect someone has evidence they can “do the boss properly”.
I mean on this guy, low keys ATM as I’m in week 2 of being 60. Made a group for my HoA 4 key during a Tyra week. Took players with Rio reflective of running 2s and 3s, became clear that two DPS in the group had no idea of the strats for bosses 2-4, yet their score indicated they must have surely run this dung before, but probably on Forti where they can just not worry about the mechanics.
More information for players is better. If Tyra is needed for pursuit of KSM then players should be in a position to tell whether someone has experience of Tyra or not. It’s only more work for people who would ordinarily never run Tyra at all outside of 14-15 and climb keys just using Forti
I don’t think this is accurate. Players avoid Tyra higher up, not lower down.
People will just improve every week some dungeons, so we will get a mix of tyr/fort. And tyrannical is for +15 in some dungeons even faster/better than fortified. And i remember when i was on 13-14 SD was actually the first dungeon on +14 timed, on tyrannical. On my current level i have also all dungeons timed on tyrannical the same level or only 1 level lower. It isn’t a big deal.
why are you sorry? people will do 14 on forti for weekly and tyr 14 for weekly every week cause they need gear to help them in mythic raid for example
for them KSM and mount is by default reward
My bad, I only glanced at the info and saw three scores so I thought it was 1500 for the equivalent of 15s and the 2000 was for the +20s equivalent. However the point I was trying to make was that it’s a score that can be done with a mix of keys rather than all having to be spot on +15. A lot of people only do weeklies and don’t push at all, they will probably just have to do a +15ish in both affixes.
make KSM easier but , make a new thing for +20 keys pushers too
every decent player who want KSM can get it easily and put minimal effort , like basics thing , installing MDT , you can see every spell from every mobs easily and learn very fast dungeons
We need something for +20 keys , like a goal in the game even if you cant get it at the end , we need something to push us to play the game through the whole patch
imagine if in PVP , gladiator would not exist , and the rating would stop at 1 800 rating with the same rewards
In PVP nobody cry because they can’t get gladiator ‘’ its too hard ‘’ lol and is too much rating
what i would love from Blizzard is something like in League of legend where at the end of the season , people above diamond get a skin and others rewards
with the new score system , at the end of the patch , Blizzard could give cool rewards for the top 5% and 0,1% score
and the KSM would still exists
So Players are in competition through the whole patch/season , and try to push highest keys
Oh, I agree. I’d never be one of them, that’s for sure, but it’d be nice to see such things be added to M+, as it’d not only give cool new items to the most dedicated players.
you are speaking from a point of view of tiny minority who is sadly dictating how game looks like in SL
You’re an actual clown if you think they listen such people. Imagine the current covenant system exists in this sad state and you go around saying that lol
Correct. Most mythic+ bosses do not have a gear check, just a mechanics check, if you know the mechanics you can do them. At lower levels Fortified is the bigger gear check for most dungeons completion in time. There are exceptions, Plaguefall for instance.
