If I may to be honest, I am not happy with season 3 dungeons. It is definitely worst dungeons expect Atal’Dazar and megadungeon. I dont want do old things and I dont pay for it, only new things. I am sure you know what I am talking about so I really hope it will be last Mythic+ Dungeon Rotation this expansion. Give us new instead of old, please! Thank you!

I kinda like them. Not a huge fan of throne of the tides and i would have liked to see some of the DF dungeons come back in season 3 but it seems like a good mix of long and short with some good options for routes in some of them.
wish the would change tod for stone core though or halls of light ehehe
yea same, im probably gonna unsub if I dont find anything else to do because half of those dungeons are outright awful

To be honest, I dislike more the alternative.
Which is to run the same 8 dungeons for 1 or 2 years straight. Gets boring to farm over and over again the same trinket every season. Killing the same bosses over and over again.
Sure, the idea would be to make 20 new dungeons per expac and rotate those. But thats living in fairy-tale land to expect that.
So… given the alternatives… better to recycle old content than to be stuck with the same one for 2 years in a row.

so can do 4 old dungeons and keep 8 of new expac.
Could even rotate weekly but that would kinda ruin rio I guess. There certainly are other options instead of what we have now.
Either way, the recycled dungeons are also a new take on it so I don’t dislike it. I just hate if they add those 5 min RP dungeons always to the pool because that is freaking annoying.
We certainly had great dungeons in the past and I wonder how they choose some really terrible ones.
Atal and waycrest were great dungeons at least, so I like they come back. Throne of tides, well not so much.
Cata had also some good dungeons with grim batol, stone core and halls
WoD had no good dungeons for me at all.
I would enjoy some more dungeons from Wotlk I guess
I dont think its blizzard saving money, it was in response to people voicing complaints about running the same 8 dungeons for 4 seasons straight so they started mixing things up
It’s a far nicer scenario than running the same dungeons for a whole expansion.

I will never understand why someone honestly wznts to do the same 8 dungeons for 2 years in m+ replace identical items at different ilevels for 2 years and never have their BiS list ever change.
The changing of dungeons every season. Makes every season different which is a better alternative

Its mostly just long ones tho, like half of them is on 39min timer .

Probably the best one route wise is atal, where there will be a lot of skiping involved so either rogue or priest “required” , or deathskips, i remember how better that dungeon was when we had obelisks in bfa
Nothing linear about Waycrest, just ‘guess which door is open this run’ and if you get unlucky your key’s blown.
The whole ‘new, amazing’ seasonal dungeon rotation thing just seems to be a way to reuse old dungeons rather than making new ones while still giving us only 8 dungeons each season (as opposed to the 12 we had in BfA and 13 in Legion).

Yea well its easy math. 8 dungeons are cheaper than 12, and people dont like to run same ones for 2 years, so using old ones is “best” way.
But idk how they choose them, feel like they pick worst ones they could most of the times , especialy this upcoming season

Many people including me like the M+ direction. I wouldn’t mind if instead 6 old dungeons Blizzard put into the mix 2 DF dungeons from season 1 so we have 4 old ones and 4 current.
Would have been sweet if they dropped 2 new dungeons to fill the spots though i csnt deny it. But maybe thats a critism they will look into in the future.
Cant beleive they havent dropped sny of the hype ones yet though. Deadmines, Shadowfang keep. I wanna see them done in m+ would be awesome
I’m not sure if you’re agreeing with me or missing the point. Tweaking old dungeons (especially those that have been used for M+ before) doesn’t really count as game development. They’re basically cutting back on game development by making fewer dungeons per expansion while trying to convince us we’re getting a better game as a result.
I wouldn’t mind so much if they brought back the other 4 DF dungeons plus the mega dungeon plus 4 old ones next season. I loved Algethar in particular, and only getting to do that dungeon on M+ for 6 months at the start of DF really sucks. I’m also still mourning the loss of the seasonal affix. Sure, we had a couple that weren’t so much fun, but we also had great ones (BfA s4 comes to mind).
My biggest complaint, though, is only getting 8 dungeons in rotation. The fewer dungeons in rotation, the greater the chance of getting the same key over and over again. I play regularly with 2 friends and we currently all have bloody Uldaman keys. Increase the number of dungeons in rotation and you reduce the chance of crap like that happening.
