At this point is kinda obvious they don’t even test the game before they release it. They took the easy way of butchering the rune instead of actually balancing the synergies. Not to mention they pretty much abandoned ranged hunter, it is only matter of time before they nerf combat traps too.
every pug is lacking in range dps so pls buff range hunters to make them not near the bottom of the damage meters…
aggrend posted that on the us forum, but the part about the procs remain unchanged (so if you want it to be optimal you must have ACP with jackhammer, rip nightblade)
Yep, it’s screamingly evident that SoD needed a month-long PTR with hefty fixes under its time before release. If P3 doesn’t get a proper month long PTR we can expect worse from P3 most likely as they won’t even be close to fixing, tweaking and/or tuning what’s already here in P2 as there’s STILL issues lingering from P1.

Yeah they are glorious aren’t they and I enjoy spending GCD+rage to rebuff commanding during a fight to prevent my own abilities doing damage to me

If 50% of your damage is raptor strike and raptor strike took a 30% nerf, than you have taken a 15% nerf and not a 30% nerf.
You’re still wrong however you choose to do the math or whatever the hunter pug in my last run was doing.
Mages and destro fire specs need to cast everything, not viable in pvp
Melee hunties are OS ppl with instant spells + big dmg in Raid with tones of armor

Its nice that you finally buffed the moonkin dot damage but those changes doesnt affect pvp at all. We can barely stay in moonkin form in pvp plus we use wild growth rune on gloves so we literally wont get any of the extra dot dmg/mana reduction in pvp whether its moonfire or sunfire. All you need to do for moonkin pvp is allow us to cast healing spells in it and this will give us the much needed survivability that we desperately need.
Another proof blizz do not test and play their game, only looking on raid numbers and forum criers. And pretty selectively.

Grimoire of Synergy, the buff on the pet rune should in addition to 5% damage also heal/recharge the pet for 5% health/mana and vice versa. (It’s more of an upkeep/survivability rune)
Shadowflame literally just needs a buff and to benefit from all Immolation talents (cast time reduction turned into CD reduction 0.1:1 ratio).
Dance Of The Wicked should give us more mana back, as I’ve said before the bug was better than the bugfix. Maybe 30% mana was a bit excessive but at least 15% mana back on crit.
For Invocation, the game is too fast, we’re all so souped up that mob clearing happens way too quickly and Affliciton just can’t keep up as they need time for their dots to work. The mobs will be dead before the Invocation rune’s effect can be used and it’s a pain in the tush to use it anyway as you’ll have to alt tab between targets and use the correct dot at the correct time remaining. It should just do 30% of a dot’s damage instantly and if used on the same target then it spreads to two adjacent targets. Obviously only for Agony and Corruption, you got Shadowflame for AOE Immolation.
(Even then I think this rune would struggle to keep up but it’d at the very least make it more useful than the current thing)
Alternatively change it so that if you use a Dot within 6 seconds of one remaining it does ALL the total damage of the DOT and resets the dot. (can critical)
Shadow And Flame, I’m going to be controversial with this one… Remove the damage. Instead it gives you a buff for 15 seconds where any spell that uses a soul shard is free of charge of both mana and soul shard.
Would be useful for Destruction’s Shadowburn and for Demonologists wanting to sacrifice their demons for a buff and then resummon them quickly.
Demonic Knowledge, I dunno, I’d probably just make it scale with health and mana instead of flat INT and STA as there are Demonologist talents that give demons more health and mana but not explicitly INT and STA.
Would make the runes a lot more interesting and synergize better with talents and one another.
Finally getting some actual Holy damage
