You want nerfs? Nerf:
- literally all the rogue runes that either give mobility/high damage+combopoints/ranged CC
- nerf priest PoM/Penance/Dispersion
If the raid is BRD bosses have an aura (smokescreen) that’ll reduces everyone hit chance by 75%
Still wondering. When do they make frost mage playable in pvp. This 2.5 sec cast time frostbolts are impossible to get trough in this instant cast retail fest, Or any shatter combo without ranged novas. Sure mage got Living flame and living bomb with fire spec and one hit arcane surge, to play some kind of pvp, but where is frost love? And we are not talking about 1v1 but like 5v5 situations in stv/BG’s.
And before anyone tells me its not supposed to be balanced in PVP… Well… All balancing works fine for other specs for PVE, but look at frost mages… Worst spec in game ATM.

Due to the rune system the DMG output is out of control
but the runes are what define SoD, additionally some stronger items than there are in the original Vanilla and the different ranks of the skills in the respective lvl brackets make balance impossible
Classes that are lagging behind need adjustments
Why hunters had Deep Survi spec since classic era then? lmao. It’s season of discovery, they’r trying to make viable new specs just like rogue tank or mage healer or even SP.
Just like SP was not viable in classic era and now it is not only viable but strong, that’s what they did with the melee hunter. Let people enjoy making that, even though some specs are stronger than others, all of them are viable and you can choose the one you enjoy the most in PvE and watch out, in PVP !
SP is a huge issue still.
I’m at 3.5 - 4.5k depending on what buffs I have. It isn’t enough when lava bursts are critting me for 1.3k and a mage’s fire thing (that I can’t get off) takes away 1.6k of my health over its duration.
And don’t get me started on s priest dots (That randomly stun even before they tick, whose dumbass idea was that?)
sorry at this point it is literally a massive skill issue if you lose to a SP, the second you manage to kick a hardcast from them they are sitting ducks for 10s. the dots are the only thing that make SP viable, SPs dont have pushback protection and are forced to cast within a pathetic PW:S that has 400-500hp only.
boomies with pushback protection FROM A RUNE are a far more serious threat than SP will ever be. SP shouldve gotten pushback protection from shadowform and all the other utilities that boomie managed to get for next balance patch.
rogues on the other hand beat you up on any class with or without CDs and there is hardly counterplay, and that counterplay is RNG based af.
RNG based counterplay is not a consistent counterplay and quite honestly is bollocks.
It’s a skill issue on your part if you’re losing as a shadow priest.
Your dots still do insane damage, you still have CC, you still have random stuns that can proc from the spell being cast before damage has even tic’d.
If you’re geting interupted it’s because you don’t know when it’s safe for you to hard cast.
Your shields also stop me from generating rage, which stops me from even being able to do anything. You shield yourself and dot a warrior, then dispersion when your shield wears off and reshield again. Then by the time Ican even hit you to generate rage, more than half of my health is gone without you ever having to hard cast.
Also, learn to fake cast.
And FYI, even after the nerf, your shadowword death still hits way more than any of my abilities.
Two dots did 1.6k damage to me through their duration. That is enough for you to kill any non-healing caster with 2 buttons. Stop being bad at your broken spec.
The CC on half a min CD that everyone and their grandma will trinket/WoTF (that crap is for another day, same with orc stun resists). The only race in the entire game that will benefit from a blackout proc is SP troll, and that is the only race that gets a pass on getting free casts off due to spamming shadow guard.
Fake cast or not, there’s still more counterplay to a SP than a rogue, and yet people still complain about SP ROFLMAO.
Especially thanks to not giving SP the same treatment in buffs as boomie with spell pushback protection on one of their runes or SF itself (they have 2 schools of magic to damage with and it doesn’t even matter which one you kick, SP has 1 for damage).
You completely ignored the 1.6k damage with two dots part. Who can get rid of that? My warior can survive the damage sure, but who else? Even IF somebody beats a shadow priest, they still lose.
That damage is JUST from the dots, nothing else.
Because everybody has their 2-5 minute cooldowns up for every fight.
You shouldn’t be losing as a shadow priest. This is a YOU problem, plain and simple.
That is such denial and copium lmfao literally more counterplay to a SP existing than the rogues doing their “no fun allowed combo”.
Fix rogues first, they haven’t been touched at all and literally buffed on Mutilate.
And this isn’t just a SP problem, it’s literally everyone suffers from that.
So what, you aren’t gonna let a SP hardcast/fakecast anything outside of their instants, especially once that utterly pathetic shield is down. Even then a priest/pally can delete VP alone, and priests can remove magic.
Who knows about shamans they can probably remove it aswell with one of their totems. If you were to play dwarf you can even stoneform it.
tl.dr: aslong rogues havent seen a single nerf to their pvp capabilities, SP simply needs to be left alone.

You’re trying to tell me that the ‘skill issue’ I was suffering from was not having a priest to deal with the priest? That suggests priests are the problem.
No. Rogues are a nuissance 1v1 and that’s all. S priests are a pain all round, and the team with the most priests has a higher chance of victory than the team with the most rogues.
Keep the SW: Death nerf and revert the dot damage buff.
It is casters that determine the effectiveness of one’s team, not rogues. I don’t ever see anybody spamming ‘LF Rogue for pvp’.

Void plague is ridiculously overtuned tbh, even if you somehow manage to beat a SP you still die to dots unless your class has a self heal/dispell or you have a jungle remedy.
It’s ticking for chimaera shot damage.
It would be alright if SP dots falled off once you are out of combat but it’s not the case and max lvl food isn’t nearly good enough to save you.
The armor will still be way too high.
Its just makes it extremely boring to play melee when crits that would have been 700-800 are reduced to 300.
Clearing adds between the bosses should not be more fun than the actual boss. (since you can actually deal damage)
As a Shaman Im absolutely thrilled about the Shamanistic Rage change for the weapon swap fiasco.
One thing I wish was that the 2H AP buff would be FLAT ap, for example the same amount as Rockbiter scaling with level to always match whatever Rockbiter gives - because the biggest gap between DW and 2H is the fact that DW can use two imbues (and Lava Lash ofcourse). It being FLAT ap would basically make 2H have pseudo dual imbue.
