After SoM, HC and now SoD I feel it’s time for a season of TBC after SoD is over and done in 1.5 years. The pure vanilla fans have had so much content and fresh experiences for vanilla, I’d say the fans of TBC should be given something.
TBC Classic was rushed and abandoned. Sure you can argue it’s the least popular expansion but seeing the player dropoff in early Wrath Classic I’m not so sure about that anymore.
Blizz said after wrath’s announcement they are not planning a TBC era realm but they are also not ruling out that TBC wouldn’t return one day.
Either reset classic (vanilla-tbc-wrath), expand SoD into TBC or give us a progressive TBC era server.

I for one would welcome classic TBC again, its my favourite expansion, hell id settle for kara and za along with the tbc class improvements in classic as my classic+ tbh

Having Season of Discovery rerun in TBC version of the game would be nice. They could skip first phase and just go 40, 50, 60, 70.

As much as I agree about TBC being great, I don’t see a compelling reason to play it anytime soon.
TBC had by far the best endgame design of the Classic trilogy, but people aren’t playing seasons for their endgame. Classic has so many incredible zones that you get to experience again. There is so much content that’s never been in the spotlight. Outland honestly sucks as a location.

Then seasonal ones - ofc I think it’s bit early for TBC but SoD evolving to TBC is decent idea.

I would pop on tbc again for the odd class/spec that was fun to play. If they planned a full tbc - wotlk again that repeats the scourge event then ill have several toons ready for that

I wouldn’t want Season of TBC, but I do wish they’d left some permanent TBC servers open. I’d even level fresh from level 1 for a TBC server. (PvE).

The 5 players wanting to play TBC won’t be enough to cover 1 server’s expense.
Me too. I’d like play Draenei over again. But not Seasonal, Era server to stay on, please.

Yes, but it would be nice to know which one it will be.
For me TBC was the start of my WoW journey, although it was pserver, i would be more inclined to dwell in TBC era than Classic which i only got to know fjrst time in 2019 nor wrath… not to mention Cata, which isnt classic its just ancient retail.
And i do enjoy retail, but i miss TBC irrationally, simply cause its my 1st introduction to the game.

Just want a permanent TBC Era server, no season of it, nothing added, nothing removed.

Would welcome this. But tbh for me it would work with a fresh TBC era on a reset timer and then looping. Would be awesome.

TBC would need its own season with its own changes. It’s the first expansion and also introduces new content and systems. HC dungeons move towards “bring the class, not the player” due to CC, and AoE. Then gradual increase in difficulty, but still not fleshed out like in WoTLK and up.
Could be fun to get a season in which we start at level 1 in TBC Outland as one of those who passed through the dark portal in the past and fresh people from Azeroth didn’t come yet

Looks like there is no evident TBC Era launch in this year.
Which is frankly beyond terrible, there are Classic Era, SoD, HC, WoTLK and soon Cata
But not a single TBC…
