I just managed to see him in the raid,
Maan, he is one of my favorite characters I would really like to see him somewhere, sometime…
Do you think there is any possibility having seeing him in the future ??

Did you not watch what happens to him after the fight?
Garrosh got disenchanted, mate.
With alternate universes and time travel, split souls, etc. being a thing, anything is possible. I also want more of him, although I’d like a time travel or alternative universe where he never gets betrayed by the Horde and we just embrace the void in the same way the alliance has embraced the light.
And I still demand his soul ash to be added to my count. That fight was a nightmare with pug…
Don’t know about this one, but when Yrel comes invading she’s bringing Exarch Hellscream in tow.
Yes I did,
But who knows,
We also raised Kel’tuzad a zillion times already.
We just need some magic and dust.
Kel’thuzad is a lich so I think that’s a bit of an imbalanced comparison.
Garrosh is either gone or reduced to Anima. There’s almost always some way to bring someone back in Warcraft though. All it takes is the whim of the writers and some arbitrary excuse. From what we know for certain now though, Garrosh is gone forever
Wait for cata/mop classic
Oh also, I was thinking today, like with all of these classics and stuff,
I know WotLK will be a blast, but will they realy make WoD Classic ?
I very very highly doubt it XD
I beg you pardon, what?
Nothing or no one is truly dead in warcraft universe. But honestly i expected he would have a bigger role. Buth then again, he was a faction leader who became a raid boss but only to get killed in a story quest and then getting disenchanted after all that.
Atleast he did it in a cool way. Never liked him anyway, zug zug xD.
Whenever a past character returns, for whatever reason, it feels like a switch was flicked rather of them being re-introduced methodically .
WoW’s characters, especially villains, are pretty much glorified plot devices that allow the story to keep breathing. Death itself is always up for debate and it feels cheap
Was the Sha not void i think they are different ?
i hate garrosh. he destroyed the vale, the best region in world of warcraft (or at least it used to be before 5.4 and the visions.
Yes, I got you there the first time… What I didn’t get was you expecting potential whim to write a good explanation for Garrosh’s resurrection from the current lore writing team… They’ve proven time and time again how lazy and uninspired they are.
Kel’Thuzad never died. Thats the difference. In Vanilla his phylactery gets stolen after we defeated him in Naxxramas. In WotLK we didnt even put our hands on his phylactery.
Thats why they were able to bring him back that often. Now with his phylactery destroyed he is dead. However its possible that this way he would now go to the Shadowlands in the normal fashion as his regular human soul as he never died outside of the Shadowlands. So they can bring him back again once more if they want to.
Thats however not the case for Garrosh. Garrosh died. He was already a soul during his encounter with Dormazain. Garrosh attacking Dormazain in the fashion he did caused him to Eradicate both Dormazain and himself as they both turned into stygia. And Stygia is “The byproduct of the violent destruction of a Soul within the Maw.” So no, Garrosh cant return as his very soul has been wiped out. Same reason why Varian can never return as he too has been eradicated (in his case it was fel)
Also the Lore of the Shadowlands is the following: Anyone that is an inhabitant of the Shadowlands that happens to die either gets turned into Stygia or Anima. Both effectively ending your existence permanently. Maldraxxus’ entire lore evolves around that concept as people being turned to anima is keeping their war machinery running.
Yes but not this Garrosh.
They have set up an Exarch Garrosh, a lightbound Orc, in Yrel’s Army of the Light. Should that army come, Exarch Garrosh will undoubtedly be there.
Shame they didn’t put Garrosh’s soul into a weapon or something.
Would be amazing adventuring with a sentient axe that accuses Thrall of cheating, ranting about how the Horde is so weak now and mocks you and your enemies constantly.
Given they’ve put Arthas’s soul in a weapon (with the huge, shocking reveal planned for next patch) it would probably seem like doing the same thing too often.
Ahw.
I’d rather wield the chad, did-nothing-wrong Garrosh mega axe! Than Arthas bummer blade of wailing sob stories.
