After Patch 11.2.5, the game is absolutely unplayable. This happens to RETAIL (and remix) But this post is about retail, since blizzard employee refused to respond to other player in a different thread.
Things that happens and “solutions to it”
- Cant log out (FIX: Alt+F4)
- Cant enter portals (FIX: Alt+F4)
- NPCS not loading into zone (FIX: Alt+F4)
- Stuck on loading screen (FIX: Alt+F4)
- Activating Party Sync, Char getting phased but then new phase wont load completely. Cant go back, cant log out, cant do anything at all but running around in an empty world (FIX: Alt+F4)
The FIX, gets you moved on, but when you relaunch game same issues will happen soon again.
I tried all the basic stuff. Like removing all addons etc.

No ADDONS still this issue with nnot being able to turn in the first quest at all

May I add that the same is happenning in retail?
For me, it seems to be the Legion Remix Helper addon. As soon as I enable that one, I sort off DC. Can’t interact with anything anymore after talking to a quest giver. I can see everyone else still move around. I tested this four times now, all with the same result:
Join game with all addons disabled, walk around and see if everything works. Play for a few minutes. The second I enable Legion Remix Helper, the issue arises and the only solution is swapping to a different character because “A character with this name…”
Other addons like Elvui, Bigwigs, Details, Dialogue UI etc do not give me any issues.
I have 0 addons. I can’t hand in quests, dismount, use heartstone, can’t use any spells, can’t log out or exit game. was in dungeon que and could not accept. This is a unplayble

same here. worst patch in this addon.

Same here all of it, worst thing is that when you Alt+F4, sometimes your character is stuck with “There is already a character with that name” for 5-10 min before you can log in again on that character.
Same here, no addons, and lag is unplayable.
Soon some blizz worker will advice us to check our internet connection and disable addons…
Nothing new here, but meh, small company.

Have the same issues, both on retail & remix.
Unforunate since remix was looking real fun but I got stuck.
I see everyone else run about around me but my character gets stuck, can’t click any spells or anything, have to alt+f4 then wait 15 mins for my character to log off.
This happened on a retail character as well & only started happening after todays patch.
EDIT: Happened on 2 characters in a row just now whenever I interacted with the inscription crafting table & then the Jewelcrafting crafting table on retail 
hi, same here. could log back in however but Rommy’s description is accurate of what’s happening. To be more precise, for me it started when I was trying to do a work order. Lag was already pretty bad before. And when I logged back in, it just happened again.
I reinstalled the game and launched it without add-ons. The entire game process freezes when I click “Complete” in the quest window. After pressing Alt+F4 and waiting 10 minutes, the following happens: I can complete the current quest and move on to the next one, but when I click “Complete” for the next quest, my character enters the same state. My character doesn’t respond to button presses, NPCs don’t respond to me, and I can’t exit the game or exit to the character selection menu

I am just curious, on which realm you all have these issues? I always have this on Silvermoon but most of the times on Burning Crusade its ok.
This is WORSE than the actual ptr version, and that’s saying something
Warband bank is also unavailible rn. 
This is wild. I seriously don’t know why I keep giving this company money. This level of incompetence is astounding.

Guys i had the issues as well. I just disabled all addons and i can play right now, a bit laggy sometimes but so far no dc or glitch. I left Dalaran now.
My current best idea is: It happens as soon as you touch the UI in any way. For example:
Currently I’ve just disabled all addons (disabling them ingame will also trigger it, because it does a reload UI…) and not touching anything. So far it works, fingers crossed
It’s 100% not addon related.
I’ve disabled every single addon. As soon as I used the (default blizzard-UI) edit mode, the same problem occurred, after everything worked before. It’s
- Using edit mode
- reloading the UI using /console reloadui or similar
One of these things always triggers the problem.
