Set 1 to disable? WTF? XDDDDDDDDDDDD 1 for enable 0 for disable XD your 10 IQ sucks. Also this command is not working anymore because Blizzard REMOVED it few days after prepatch launch.
Why do you even answer him? He is apperantly some internet troll, he doesn’t even know that 1 means true and 0 means false in common computer language…
it literally says to not use cache you have to set it to 1, “cacheless”, dude you tried to mock me but ended up roasting yourself yikes
“cacheless” aka diable cache? you guys are real brainlets
Also wanted to add my 2 cents. Got stuttering only in Dragon Isles, everything else is buttery smooth.
Stuttering is most severe when Dragonriding, especially diving and getting closer to the ground (as assets/NPC’s/players are loaded in), definitely worse when there’s a lot of players (Valdrakken/Obsidian Citadel).
- i5 12600K
- Geforce RTX 3080
- 32 GB RAM
- Win10 (same on Win11)
- Nvidia drivers 527.37
- Gsync or Vsync makes no difference
Saw a post on US forum saying that disabling game sound (not just music, but disable all sound in options menu) made a great difference on the stuttering problem. Have tried it myself and yes it has made quite an improvement, so hopefully this might point Blizzard at the source of the problem.
Turning off sound completely in game - System / Audio / Enable Sound reduced my stuttering by 99%. It feels like I have my game back again. Of course it’s not a solution, can’t play without a sound…
Win 10 Pro 22H2
Nvidia 3070 Ti - 527.37
Intel I7-9700KF

I see several having this experience, but none of the system I’ve tested have any effect. Are you referring to the stutter that happens when loading in players, or did you get stutters at random locations?
Zero stutters everywhere. Players, locations doesn’t matter.
Turned off sound and there is an improvement no doubt but it’s not as good as it was and obviously it’s not practical.
It reaffirms though that this is 100% on Blizz and how CPU load is being handled since DF if just muting the game and stopping that process running on a thread sees a marked improvement.
It’s definitely interesting that it has an effect on some peoples PCs. I read about this on US forums before going to work today and thought I’d have this checked on several prebuilds and test systems, sadly no difference.
This expansion getting worse and it is annoying. I hope they FIX this issue!!!
I think it keeps getting worse every day.
Now upon login and entering the world, my game freezes for a second before it gets all good.
Same here, it’s like loading in something/everything. Even with no addons in folder.
today the game is getting worse…
every 5 seconds STUTERRING.
even in a dungeon…
They are all to blame cos they aren’t working together to fix their issues, some issues just need to be fixed while working together, its usually always part game part driver part windows issue
Game has a deadlock state which means game is currently bugged this happening with any blizzard game currently, deadlocks are bad
Check out the thread I just posted regarding stuttering. There is no real fix yet but you can try to disable all ingame sound and restarting your client and test if it helps. I’ve already seem some people saying their stuttering got better when playing without sound. Seems to work for both my rigs right now. More testing is needed of course.
i see blizzard acknowledged the stutters, not only the lag and other issues but the stutters too … Even if they blame everyone else but still, it worked fine the day before and after patch we had this .
let me guess you are on AMD card
Keep guessing.
