Severe Stuttering after updating to Pre-patch 10.0

i dont play much dragonflight but i do play and relog many alts to camp rares for mounts

and since DF i cannot make the relog fast enough, it takes much longer on logging to server, on loading screen…like something is slow on my pc despite having ssd and instant loading BEFORE DF

i unsubbed, not playing a game in this state, all my games run fine only wow is a complete stutter fest and slowdowns, lag, dcs, crashes.

this new team needs to be fired asap.

They really need to move on to a new engine or something. The performance this expansion is really bad.

they need to simplify the spells/procs. make more passive and less on proc. they also need to delete crz clown fiesta and just buff high pop server infrastructure

Keep having this problem, nothing helps. 3070 btw

Yeah AMD gpu drivers are very problematic right now AMD them self wont even admit these issues but they are real, blackscreens gpu driver crashes usually while doing simple stuff like alt tabbing or something very light, must be because they desperate on keeping power usage down to a maximum that is possible with dualscreen setups or high res displays since it used to be so bad, but if heard Nvidia just have really high power usage but more stability, kinda wish i bought a Nvidia gpu instead but damnit gpu shortage was’t gonna pay double the price for a gpu.

I bought my 6900 XT only for msrp so lucky me now i can spend double just to avoid these driver issues and instead get these driver issues with Nvidia like corrupted textures flickering tree’s and so on yay :frowning: maybe should just stick with AMD and hope for the best.
Nvidia been trying to fix flickering issue for 4 years now without succes

You plan on swapping your entire PC?

I probably go full Intel Nvidia i don’t want to spend weeks troubleshooting only to find out i have a driver issue cos AMD wont be honest about whats a problem, even Nvidia is more honest about their driver issues.

Have you tried turning sound off?
It did wonders for me. Apparently game plays smooth as heck without sound on.

If turning sound off helps you, there’s issues with CPU overhead.

Turning sound off helped the game become playable for me at least. Stuttering is still present but at the very minimum. Also every setting is on low detail.

I mainly put this here to keep the thread alive since its 27 days since last post. The sound issues with WoW has nothing to do with CPU overhead.

Still shuttering going on.
also gimmi back 700 mb ram wow client.
